Interleaugue play starts up this weekend ..Next year with the Astros moving to the AL West there will be interleague everyday from opening day to the last day of the season

Lets hope my team will be more competitive by that time...

On a side note... The year that the Astros gets the number one pick happens to be one of the weakest draft in years...

Did you know 20 years ago they could of had a prospect by the name of Derek Jeter and they passed on him?

The Astros weren't the only team to pass on Jeter, I believe 5 or 6 more teams passed on him. Also, I've heard that he was telling people that the Yankees were going to sign him so why bother picking someone who doesn't want to go to your team?

I don't think this draft was pretty weak, just that there was no #1 consensus for a pick. With the new drafting rules I think we're going to be seeing only HS kids go in the first and second rounds, and the college guys will go later. I gotta say I love the picks Houston made, and look forward to seeing who they sign.

From what I heard it was a difference of $50g's that couldn't be settled on the stos were going only as high as $700,000 but Jeters camp wanted $750,000

The Yankees said them selves they were holding their breaths and hoping that the other teams weren't going to draft him before they got a chance too

They are long term picks... I like it also since we are rebuilding...

I don't even pay attention to MLB draft because you usually don't see those guys for the big league club for years anyways. And often times the team trades their prospects for bullpen pitchers! lol

dang, Celtics came out way flat tonight. Now instead of having everything going their way, they will be the underdog in game 7. bummer

Crap. Heat beat the Celtics. Still don't think they can beat the Thunder.

I don't know what the heck happened to the Celtics the last 2 games. Choke City man! Last game they were terrible all over, and in this one they played better, but turned the ball over way too much. Everytime they took a lead they just started throwing the ball all over the place. I couldn't believe it. Celtics were up by 8 and then just got completely sloppy.

The HEAT got lucky. And I don't think they will get all the calls against the Thunder like they did against the Celtics

yeah, I was impressed by the way the Thunder steadily climbed back from their early deficit and continued right on through til the end of the game. I really dislike the Heat for all of their unsportsmanlike antics. I even saw mario Chalmers fall to the ground and grab his throat, pretending to be hit, when the replays showed nobody touched him. I can't stand them.

I hope the Thunder sweep them, that would be awesome

Don't know if anyone here had heard about it,Jim Rome was interviewing David Stern and was asking him about the Draft Lottery being fixed and Stern replied by asking Rome if he still beat his wife. I really don't know how to respond to crap like that.

holy crap! now that is amazing.

But it makes you wonder.. If Rome really did beat his wife, then Stern's question is meant to hit a nerve of something that actually happened. So is he saying that yeah, the lottery was fixed, but don't ask about it?

dang man. The refs suck. James clearly pushed Durant and held him from going to the hoop on that last shot. Durant should have been shooting freethrows with a chance to tie the game.

I think Stern was just trying to make a point that Rome's question about the fix is outrageous and has no merit...
