DCUC Mattel 2 Pack Want List

Matty is starting to pull the plug on their 2 packs which I hope is not so. Personally, I think they fumbled big time with the first 2 because of poor character choices/costumes and poor design, people just did not like Starfire or the original take on Lex Luthor and Ultraman. In the other thread some people mentioned Hawk and Dove which is the biggest no brainer, and a duo like that would be aces to sellout. Below are some of my pics, what other ideas does anyone have?

 

 

- Batman and Robin - From the 1960's TV show, if they have the rights, that would be awesome. I can

see this being big at retail, even casual fans or those for nostalga would be interested, a TRU exclusive

or Matty would be great.

 

- Hawk and Dove - I third that motion

 

- Saint Walker and Lafleez - The series is so popular, this set should of been the next one from Matty

after the Jungle set

 

- If they do any other Green Lantern set (Blackest Night), they should only use the most visible and

noted characters, anything less won't sellout

 

And of course any Super Friends idea would be hot -- El Dorado + Black Vulcan, Samurai + Apache Chief, then they need to come out with an Apache Chief BAF, but I am getting too far ahead

Yes. Changeling is Beast Boy in the red and white outfit. As far as I know, he wore the purple mask in Doom Patrol and I think when he was a member of Titans West in the 70's.

If they do Clark, they need to use a bigger body, same head sculpt minus the curl and add glasses (which they did a great job on the first figure) I really want a modern

I really want a Max Mercury figure, I really do. I always thought DC was going to make him out to be something really big, like he holds the keys to speed or something. I thought Max would turn out to be the fastest there ever was.

Mattel has said that they don't have the 60s TV show license but they do have all the Batman movie license. If they have the guts like NECA they would have release a lot more figures in the Movie Masters line.

-Tim Drake ROBIN (from wave III) with a corrected slightly taller body & BATMAN (dark knight) in taller body)

 

-SUPERMAN in taller body (NO McGinness appeal) and STEEL (from DCSH with a taller body)

 

-STARFIRE in TALLER woman body and CYBORG (silver chromed like the Super powers one)

Out of all of these, the ones below are my favorite suggestions...Mattel should really read this topic because the ideas here are great:

A Superman II 2 pack with General Zod, Ursa, and Non

 

Hawk and Dove - I prefer the male versions, the new females are cool but I wouldn't want them in action figure form

 

Jor El, Lara and Kal El with Rocket - if they are doing battle cat, they can make a small rocket, should it be comic version or movie version?

 

 

my favorite one that was suggested is the

Parallax and original suit Kyle - this is a sure way to sellout of a set, just on Kyle alone though I LOVE Parallax, they should have the caped and uncaped version of Parallax
