Your take on Bench Press

So I'm having a little trouble deciding what to do with Bench Press. Normally I don't really pay much attention to the file cards and I pretty much just use a figure how ever I see fit. But In Bench Press' case I'm a little at odds. I think what throws me off (and intrigues me) is the fact that Bench Press' file name is Craig McConnel which is of course Rock N Roll's name. So I'm having trouble deciding who Bench Press is. What do you think?

To me, it's a new Joe by the nickname of Bench Press, and that's all I need. Well, that...and this lamp here!

I want to get me a Bench Press. But so far I just take him as a totally new guy, given his look. He doesn't have anything that really hints that "I was once Rock N Roll!" =D

Completely new character to me. Thankfully, he doesn't look anything like RnR.

I know I want to keep him Craig McConnel of the original Joe roster but haven't decided what I'm gonna call him yet.

 

Not really a big deal to me, or Hasbro either, I guess. Anyone taken a look at the file cards on the newest vehicles that are out? Airwave from the repainted Firebat is Franklin E. Talltree (Airborne) and the guy that comes with that hella cheap looking motorcycle that looks and dresses like Airborne is now Rollbar. I predict a lot more of this kind of stuff in the future.

I think Hasbro might be careful with some of the names though, as they might really hit some character names that make the fans go "WTF, hey?!!!" =)
