Do you open your DCUC figures or keep them sealed?

I open everything, they take less space this way, plus you have to build the figures. But I do admit to keeping extra Rare figures in the package, like DCSH Cyborg Superman or extra Wave 5 series. Got to have a couple of "toy trophies" on the wall, but not to many. Gets to expensive and I don't like tying my money into something that's going straight to storage or in closet. If I can't grab it and appreciate it what's the point of spending money on it.

It depends on the figure, but I usually do both.

You have the right idea. I do both also, but I would not if I was not in the financial situation to do so. If it came down to me having doubles and not being able to eat or pay bills still, I would definately not have doubles. Luckily, that is not the case and I am fortunate enough to be able to get doubles.

Also, CheckmyFresh, that wall is amazing, thanks for posting those pictures.

If I could afford to do both, I probably still wouldn't. Because it'd mean that I probably wouldn't need to sell them one day so they'd be even less of an investment. But that's me...I've actually put a lot of thought into this subject.

Thanks, I took a long time but I think it was worth it

The thing with me is that I do have the resources to buy doubles of everything but I usually buy case from BBTS and if I see an entire wave at a store then I'll double up

While this is all about one's preference, I once collect MOC when Marvel Legends and the original 6"-inch Batman line were out.

I left figures in the box until one day I wanted to open them, and a few came out defective.

If I opened them immediately, could have switched them for perfect figs.

Besides, why have something that you never use??

Whether you play, pose, take action pics, or whatever, I think the real fun is the actual joy you get out of what you own.

But that's just me (I'm a little crazy anyway!!!)

Delayed gratification? I open. Check for defective toys, arrange them in intricate displays, and customize some of them.
I'm the same way, display and customize or upgrade paint jobs!
Hell yeah! I painted my Wave 1 Red Tornado to have an amalgamized version Young Justice and JLU costumes. I painted Batman Beyond's batarang to match the Freeze-arang from his fight with Inque. I took Kid Flash and a spare Robin's head to make Invincible's half-brother (in his original costume, I have to say now). And most recently, I put a black plether jacket (courtesy of Hellboy Movie Nazi Kroenen) on Robot Man to make him Morrison Era Robot Man! My current plans are for an Invicible made from Wave 7 Flash's body and Terry Mcguinness' head with Blue Beetle's goggles. I only need to get the Flash!
