I'll admit the first time I posted with the 4 cases I was being a dick. I'm not trolling or trying to entice anger,just saying that if my POS Wally can get this many cases then it is very possible that these will hit in massive quanities by Christmas.

I went to Walmart tonight to try and help some other people, and 40 figures have just disappeared somewhere. They scanned the tag and it said 49 (but it has always read 9) so nobody knew anything about them. The lady even helped me tear apart the palettes and checked in the back. WTH!!?

 

On another note, Someone was nice enough to send me a Power Girl in the mail and I paid him. I too believe in Karma. That Mason guy got me bad... I could never do that to someone.

Just came back from the one in San Marcos and not a damn thing!!! If they every came in, the stock lady said she never saw em!!! So who knows????

 

Can't believe so many are finding them and yet nothing here in the Austin area, are they not coming or just that many collectors??

I think it's a combination of both. I just came back from my wal mart with no luck again. I'm honestly really starting to lose patience with this set. Wal mart and Mattell are an awful combination, they really bring out the worst in each company. Mattell's total inability to produce enough figures to meet demand, and Wal Mart's ignorance and broken distribution system. My store hasn't had anything on the shelves since early september. So the other day I had someone scan a upc and the system said there were two in stock. I explained that there wasn't anything in the store and the employee said it was weird that they didn't have any on order since even if there really were only two in stock that the system should have automatically ordered more a long time ago. I can't believe these two companies are as big as they are with the way they conduct business.

I think the biggest problem is that this wave should have been ordered in on a seperate basis!! IE, as a seperate line, like Target did with their crappy exclusive!! Oh how I wish Wal Mart would have gotten the Public Enemies wave!! Anyhow, they did the right thing by adding space for the exclusive line. Wal Mart should have done the same and voila departments can order what people want without having to worry about peg warmers preventing them from ordering!!

This is another example of wal marts ineptness. I caved and got the target exclusive set and it was unbelievably easy to do so. You can scan the item and it will tell you whether or not there's items in the back, you can go on their website and see which stores in your area have them in stock. Both things that are not an option at Wal Mart. It's time Wal Mart entered the 21st century. If they're not going to pay their employees enough to give a S*(& then at least give us the tools to help ourselves.

Well I have seen some of the higher ups here admit they don't ban his accounts because he could re-register, which I counter with that's what moderators are supposed to do. Suss out trouble makers and ban them. Keep banning them. Until the message is received.

 

Allowing wolves to roam the chicken roost does not foster a positive community for folks that may be looking to buy / trade with others.

They get banned and then come back 2 month later with a diff SN scam a handful of people before we find out its them again....and the circle continues. at least this way you know who they are and not deal with them.

 

btw mods cant ban only suspend, jayc is the only one that can ban.

I live out near Napa and I went to Walmart on monday to get some milk for my son, and they had 3 Batman in the Black suits. Unfortunately nothing else. I didn't buy any cause he was one of the ones I planned on skipping. One of my friends found a Power Girl for me on Tuesday so I was happy, one done and 4 more to go for me (I'll be skipping Robotman).

Right, which is why mods should be monitoring the board for trouble makers and reporting them to the admin for banning.

 

I've been around for years, I used to run a gaming forum, I've been a member of a gaming forum for years which has persistent nuisance posters. Sooner or later the jerks reveal themselves and they get banned again for another few years.

 

Is it perfect? Perhaps not; but every summer you need to weed and mow your lawn to keep it clean.

 

No different with a forum.
