I don't think toy managers can order anything...at all. I believe it's all done by computer.

 

They absolutely can.

 

Now, finding one to ask them to do it....and having them know enough to do it....and then actually convincing them to do it....those are different issues.

These should of been as easy as PE figs. I must give it up to Target, they have a much better system this time around for their exclusives.

So I was planning on hitting the stores pretty hard in the morning, but when I got off of work tonight, I got a crazy idea to hit the Walmart closest to my house. I went home changed clothes and made a small grocery list, so the trip would not be a total waste. When I got to Walmart, I parked closest to the Garden Center as I customarily do. I grabbed a cart because I was buying groceries and headed to toys. When I turned the corner of action figures, to my surprise was a full case of Wave 10. Since I picked up the Joker, Power Girl, and Batman last week at this same Walmart, I left those for the next lucky soul who has sought these out.

 

 

With the Public Enemies Superman I found this morning, I would say it has been a day of happy hunting!

 

 

You don't think you could go back and get another, I will buy them from you and pay the shipping costs.

I will help out when I can, but my toy budget was streched a little thin this week with all of wave 10 and the 4 Public Enemies 6" figures as well as the Public Enemies 6-pack.

I'm trying to network with the local Wal Mart toy employees to hopefully ensure I get the three figures I want from this set. After some discussion last night there is a possibility that if I time things right and get there on time, I could buy a case. At which point I'd be willing to sell them for cost / shipping to other fans who just want the darned things. Sort of like a plastic Robin Hood, but without all the theft.

Really? Wave 5 was a total no go for me, which is why I'm so afraid for this wave. Every time I went to Wal-Mart looking for Wave 5 all they had in stock was Riddler.

 

Just saw an Amazo going for $125 at Mid Ohio Con.

Ok, guys I don't mean to be a naysayer! But keep your wits about ya when dealing for these guys! I'm not saying these new posters are a bunch of fakes, but really be careful when dealing with new members who can get you the hard to find items! Perhaps they can, but be careful! We don't want anyone getting scammed!!!

So I get a call this afternoon from my walmart store and they told me that they got a case of DC figures so I rush out there, they bring out what I'm positive is a wave 10 case and she opens it factory sealed to reveal a Best of case.

 

Oh well! I'm glad I already got my set or I'd have pulled my hair out because this was like the 10th case of these I've seen in the last 6 weeks. Good thing I've got the next waves online pre0ordered because the walmarts in my area keep getting more of the same figures they already have and haven't sold in 6 months. I don't see them ordering anymore anytime soon.

 

I don't really care personally if walmart has a glut of these or not now but I am worried in the sense that I hope that the glut of 6/7 doesn't hurt walmart continuing to carry the DCUC line and without walmart's support DCUC collapses much like DCSH and MOTU 200x.

i did find joker powergirl and batman down by dragons way which is like 2 hrs and 15 minets from me thats the only place so far with out a crap load of 6 and 7 on the pegs.

 

But if anyone comes across any extra i need robotman beastboy manbat and forager please please please!!!!!

I was out at the Walmart in Wolfchase last week and they had a few of the wave 10 figures. I managed to pick up Power Girl and Joker, so these are hitting out here, but not in major bulk yet.
