DO they really expect us to believe there would be no retailer interest in these figures? That they would not order for fear of them sitting on the shelf? I'm going to type a sentence and someone tell me if it sounds completely ridiculous:

 

"We're not going to put our money down for Batman stuff. There's just not enough interest from kids or fans."

 

If a retail outlet said something like this for Indiana Jones, Star Trek, or even GI Joe, I'd buy it. But this is Batman, people. BATMAN. The character will be loved by kids and collectors for decades to come. He has a new video game that I always see big empty spaces on the shelf for (sold out!) and they want us to think retailers would not be interested in purchasing new waves? From a popular movie? Screw. That.
