Game launches tonight at midnight. If I weren't in a work crunch I'd love to get "sick" for a couple of days!

 

Surprised there's not more fervor for it on the boards. It is getting massivley solid reviews! Anyone else wishing they could disappear for from reality for a week?

That collectors edition looks sick, unfortunately I promised wifey that I'd cut down on buying games I can beat in less than a week, so I'll rent it tonight and see if it's as easy as the Demo made it out to be

I picked up my copy of the collector's edition last night. I'm kind of disappointed in the batarang and diary that come with the game. The batarang turned out to be maybe 8 inches not the 14 inch one that was promised, plastic and attached to the base. The diary is made of cheap replica leather and the inside is no different than a game manual. For $100, I was expecting more, but the game should make up for it. It looks awesome.

picking mine up tomorrow...the reviews are crazy good too, which is odd since we all know how horried comic games, espceilly dc, have been.

 

on a side note, i havent played fable 2 in quite some time but gonna have to finish it since 3 is kinda dependent on it

The character designs just set me off on this release, harley looks bad and the rest look funky to me. I will probally pick it up later when it hits that 30.00 sweet spot, but I cant justify 60.00 on it.

I was wondering that myself and the best I can come up with is that the scratches are supposed to make it look used and worn as if it's something you could pick up off the street after you witness Batman battling somebody.

i will get mine tomorow. i can not wait to finaly have it. since i saw a peek of bane, i was all for it. mattel should have released some figures of this game then from the public enemy animated movie if you ask me.

It's been like that for about a year now, hasn't it? I thought they dropped PS2 support pretty quickly.

 

As far as bad comic games, I find Hulk: Ultimate Destruction to be great fun still.

Wow! Opposite reaction rom me... My wife was laughing at how "risque" Harley looked and I was enjoying the new look!

Everything (including the character designs) screams awesome thus far. This is THE best super hero game I've ever played. That includes CoH/V and M:UA...and I'm less than 20% thru the game.

 

It's not The Dark Knight of video games...but it's at least the Iron Man (movie) of video games. Bad to the Ass.

I hope Movie Masters makes this Batman, Harley, and Scarecrow.
