Hm, the ads claimed the missile launchers will work for both robot and vehicle mode just like the G1. I don't know if this true for the original City Commander since only one side of the trailer has hole.

 

Not a big lost since I'm displaying in robot mode anyway. I'm just glad the launchers and the dual gun are released as a separate set. They should've done this in the beginning, ehehee.

First, this 2nd version of CC is still in Pre-order stage so no one really knows what it looks like e.g. does the new CC comes with chrome, etc. Some of the things that we are sure:

1 - It comes with missile launchers that can be mounted on both mode just like Powered Commander (Prime). The 1st version CC did not have this feature. So those that buy the accessory set alone, the rocket launcher maybe useless in vehicle mode since there is no hole.

2 - New dual gun designs to look like the g1 Magnus gun. One mode uses by CC and a second mode uses by Classic Magnus.

 

As for the 1st version of CC, I bought one. In term of how it look, he looks very fabulous. The only thing I did not like is the leg connection onto Classic Magnus. I fear in the long run, this piece will be the first to break due to the rigid connection when putting on or off. And you have to play around to get the right angle in order for the two pieces to snap together. Other minor issue, or maybe it's just my set, is that the Classic Magnus white gun does not connect onto CC rear shoulder well, it's too loose. Here's my CC pics:

I will be getting those add-ons as well. They are too sweet to pass up.
