I almost picked him up when TRU had their two for $9.99 sale, but I couldn't bring myself to start collecting Joes again. Sounds like I should have caved.

That ALMOST prevented me from picking one up, but I did anyway and glad I did! I skipped the TRU Barbecue though, as it really didn't interest me and the other is as good as it gets for him in his original colors.

yeah the goggles are removable. I really like this figure, I was able to get him to hold all his accessories on him

Don't let that stop you from getting the figure, he's great. I agree that the lime green on the goggles wasn't the best choice, but you could always paint them. A gunmetal gray would go well, considering the rest of his color scheme.
