It's funny, with DCUC you just never know when a wave is gonna be hard to find!! I found pretty much the entire wave, but only picked up Black Adam and Deadshot!! Could have picked up Black Wildcat, human Mantis, and Guardian!! But thought, nah they'll be there later!! Ha ha, was I wrong!!!

 

Oh well, in time!! Slowly completing the Giganta wave, guess it's good to keep my purchases spread out!!! @hmmm@ Overpriced toys!!!

 

So someone suggested to me that if you shake the #$## out of a figure while its still in package, if there is anything on it that will break like a leg or something it will fall apart when you do this... has anyone tried this wtih dcuc?!

I found the Black Wildcat and Robot Mantis this morning at TRU! I saw 2 Green Arrow's and 2 Black Canary's on the shelf and thought that was odd, so I walked around to the other sections where the sometimes put up DCUC and there was nothing, then I noticed a box sitting in between a couple of piles of empty boxes. Lo and behold there was a Purple and Black Wildcat, both Mantis's and a Vigilante in the box, and the Black Wildcat had the variant torso for Chemo. So, Bring on Wave 10!

(sigh) If only that TRU were closer to my area, I might have me a Green Arrow and Black Canary (the only other one I really want being the Super Powers Mantis) and the main Wave 8 figure I want since it has the last piece I need to complete Giganta. Oh well. Hopefully someone that wants them will get them. I bet they have some of the Marvel Legends two packs too. Maybe Wave 9 and the ML sets will be available on the TRU website.

Yeah, they have been getting about a case of ML every week and a half. I have been working on my SHIELD Army. A friend of mine found this weird assortment at a Target in Apex, NC this morning as well.

Went to TRU today in Montgomery AL and scored the whole revision case of wave 9. 2 BC's, 2 GA's, both Mantis's and Wildcat's. And sorry before anyone asks, my buddy bought the duplicate BC and GA. Now I am ready for wave 10!!

From my understanding, the upper torso with more bubbles is a running production change, so the less gassy one will be harder to find. It is only the upper torso that has been changed.

I haven't seen ANYTHING related to this wave outside of my local comic book shop (they ordered 5 cases from Diamond and got 1). Going out today to look around. I'm beginning to resign myself to having to grab these off of scalper-bay sooner than later. I don't want to miss out like I did wave 5.

Well I am majorly screwed. My pre-orders from CSC were among the many cancelled and were not fulfilled. I thought for sure I was in the running for the orders they could fill. luckily I found a case at Walmart and Degra helped me to fill having 2 complete sets, however now i have no MOC samples. This really burns me up because the stupid scalpers raided TRU after every truck shipment in the past 4 weeks. This was to be the last set that I was going to get 4 of and that is not going to happen.

 

 

I hate Mattel and I hope they lose the the DC rights. Yes I will still buy them but its one of those things where I wish Mattel would fail. Again we all know the truth that Walmart sucked up the stock that was supposed to go to the institutions that supported them when Walmart dropped them like a bad habit and stuck with Hasblow. This is bad business at its worst.

 

 

I hate the scalpers and the 1 or 2 losers who work at TRU that help them out and I certainly hate Mattel who can't seem do anything right, its either bad distribution, bad production, bad plastics, running changes, price increases, anything and everything to screw over the fans and supporters.

 

I think maybe TRU is a little responsible too, because they have gotten in 5 to 6 cases in my area, of course the scalpers tore threw them with the aid if a big time TRU loser.

Fooking Mattel is the most sickening company ever, full of the biggest losers on the planet, they can't run anything but their product into the ground. I stopped searching for these because I was sure I would at least get them MOC but it seems that won't happen and the prices on ebay are astounding 200 to 300 for a complete set.

We need to set up a "Wave 9 Help" thread. It's disturbing to know that some people are lucky enough to see excess Wave 9, and leave it behind.
