Hi All

I picked up a Medicom Sandtrooper cheap from a member over on mousedroid.com and once I received him I couldn't resist giving him more of a battle weathered look. The hands can be removed and the spare set attached and the upper torso and arms can still be articulated for more poses.

RECIPE

Sandtrooper - The Trooper as mentioned is from Medicom and I was very surprised how detailed this figure was, there have been no modifications done to the figure except for painting and weathering. The figure was painted using Vallejo paints and weathered using Vallejo paints and Pastels.

Blastech T-21 - The weapon is a modified WW1 machine gun I removed the circular magazine and replaced it with bits from the parts box. The sling is from a WW2 German MG-34, it was then weathered using Vallejo paints and Pastels.

Base - The base is two pieces of foam core glued together and then once dry I painted it then added sand. Once dry the sand was given a wash of light brown then drybrushed and weatherd using Vallejo paints and Pastels.
