How can Wave 10 be a WalMart exclusive when...

...WalMart, based on my recent experience, isn't even carrying ANY DCUC figures on their pegs..??

Been all up and down the East Coast the last few months...Been to the Southwest, too. Visited A LOT of WalMarts. too.

Not one (that's 0, as in "zero") had a single DCUC figure on the pegs (or "Infinite Heroes", either). Most had only "Batman: Brave and the Bold" representing DC.

I was extremely lucky with Wave 5, and unexpectedly found the entire wave sitting on the pegs back in December of '08. Those were the last DCUC I ever saw in WalMart anywhere.

TARGET, meanwhile, is flush with DCUC. Just got back from Texas, and I could have collected all of Wave 6 twice over if I'd wanted to, and lots of Wave 7, too.

Well, what you're finding in terms of Walmarts and DCUC is what's scaring a lot of us. DawgStar is having a very hard time sniffing out a Walmart that carries DCUC too. From what I've seen, unless a Walmart carried the DCSH line, it hasn't carried the DCUC line. Mattel SWEARS that more Walmarts will be carrying DCUC and Wave 10 in particular but they also swore everyone would be able to find Wave 5!

I have four Walmarts. Back in Jan they reset the aisles. Up until then they didn't carry DCUC. Then after the reset they all four did and got a ton of wave 6 in. They reset the aisles just recently. Now two of them no longer carry them. The other two do and just got in a Best of case. There was also a price increase to 12.97

I'm hoping at least one will continue to carry them so I can get the much anticpated wave 10. And beyond the concern about the stores continuing to carry DCUC. I'm also a little concerned about pegwarmers of waves 6/7 and the Best of cases preventing those two stores from being able to reorder the wave 10 when they start showing up.I guess if it comes down to it when I start hearing of wave 10 showing up I can go in and buy up all the remnants of the earlier waves so they'll order more cases and hopefully they'll be wave 10. Then I can either return the pegwarmers of waves 6/7 or find people that need them and sell those figures to them.

I know that I'll be buying every wave 10 figure I see so I can help out posters that will need them.

Why do you use such a large type?

'Cuz practically everything I have to say is INCREDIBLY important.

It's also my trademark.

Why not use some vocabulary and thinking instead, rather than font size?

It would be a more appealing and lasting trademark--and would probably create a bigger impact than "screaming" with every post.

Otherwise, it really is an irritant, and it'll only get you tuned out when you are trying to say something genuinely "important".

You know what'd be even better? If you just blocked him. It's much easier on the eyes.

It might get to that.

But I'll see how he responds first before I take that kind of action at my end.

I'M SORRY...DID I MISS THE PART WHERE I ASKED FOR YOUR OPINION ON MY POST-ING STYLE..?

BTW..."screaming", as defined by proper internet ettiquette, is a repetitive overuse of CAPITAL LETTERS in a long, continuous string of prose (As an example, Capital Letters are the lettters that commonly begin sentences or personal pronouns in English).

I hope that helps...I'm an optimist.

The great thing about the internet is that you don't actually have to ask for somebody's opinion for them to give it. My opinion is that you're incredibly obnoxious. See, no asking necessary!

I have far more respect for your opinion of me as "obnoxious" than I have for someone who says [insert whiny, nasally voice] "I don't like the way you use your fonts..."

Its nice to see that you've made it very clear to everyone that you are not going to be worth anyone's time.

I know of 3 Walmarts that carry them within a 3 hour radious in AL...... and that is out of about 15 store at least. About half added them during the early year reset and then when they did the remodels in those stores they took the space away and clearanced them out. I am not looking forward to trying to find wave 10......

Well, anywho... :)

My Wallys still have stock of DCUC, but I imagine they are also slow on the uptake for resets. (We're usually the last to get items in the new-toy-ripple-effect)

You should have checked CT in your east coast search, although, you'd have only found wave 7.

Oh, please! I SO miss EvilStar, it hurts! I know the guy has been surreptitiously reading the boards, so he know what people had said about him. But truth to tell, I'll lovingly take him any day! HE WAS NOT THAT BAD!! More amusing than offensive!

And there's another 'dawg' out there who posted recently who has far more 'EvilStar' in him than BigDawg... Enough so to make me think ES was making a comeback! (C'mon, ES - We really DO miss you!)
