is there a 'name" for the new movie continuity?

I was at Walmart the other day looking through the book section and saw there was a new Trek book about Spock. So I looked at it and obviously the picture on the cover was that of Leonard Nimoy. So I got to wondering how they will differentiate between the old continuity and the new movie version in future books? Is there an actual name for the new movie continuity? Just kind of wondering.

Call it Trek-A for "Alternate".

I dodn't think they will differentiate between the two. There is no more contitnuity, this is Star Trek from now on.

Paramount is officially referring to it as the "relaunch" .

But this alters all the treks afterwords. So you cant say that things like voyager and DS9 didnt happen
