IF it were a more functional stationary base i'd be interested, but i already have an MCC and regret that purchase, why would i want another one? sure it's a new mold, but it seems even less functional.

What was wrong with the MCC? I'm not asking to be confrontational, I'm curious what you thought was wrong with it.

The Pit isn't just "less functional", its very poorly designed. I was looking at the 92/01 headguarters as a comparison. It too was heavily gimmicked, the biggest one being that it folded up for "carrying" too. It was gimmicky, like an "exploding" panel (which NEVER stayed on on mine) or the "collapsing" tower, but you could GET to the tower (for the most part) from a realistic standpoint.

But the Pitt doesn't DO anything at all. You unfold it....and that's it. The 92/01 headquarters might have been limited heavily by the gimmicks but you could actually put the figures in seats and things not just standing on an empty platform.

wait wait wait....are you trying to tell me that they're selling a modified Hammerhead for $130? what the hell?

Not the Pitt is $130 (I think) and the Hammerhead is just there for size comparison.

I don't know if this was posted here at TNI. If so no biggie.

I hadn't seen it before so I found it interesting.

Pit: I didn't know it had "vehicle elevators" inside it. What for? There is nothing. He said "the design team was really thinking about kids and collectors when designing it..." Apparently not thinking hard enough. It holds 80 figures, yet they all just "stand around".

Night Raven: I like how the wing fell off! NOT a good sign, even if it is a "prototype".

Ultimate Duke: THAT is the "ultimate action figure"? @loll@ That thing will be fun for about 3 days. Want to know what the "ultimate" action figure is? 20th anniversary Optimus Prime.

The Star Wars vehicle at the end: I'm not really into Star Wars so I don't know WHAT it is. But it sure as hell looks to be more fun the the Pit.
