I picked this up off ebay for a pretty good price. He's old and the arms are loose, but he' still in pretty good condition. I thought I'd give us something else to discuss....that is if anyone WANTS to @firedevil@

The head tilts a full 90 degrees, but that's part of the transformation.

He was actually missing a part, but that was ok. I got the pic of tfu.info.

Transformation: Simple, of course. Interestingly enough, this guy would make an excellent Classic update. The figure himself is simplistic enough that the addition of joints in the knees and elbows, for example, would not inhibit the transformation.

That there is the extent of his poseability, but given how old the mold is, that is still quite a bit.

And, also, since he's from a line that had them as piloted vehicles rather than sentient robots, his canopy opens (as shown above), but in this case, the seat also swivels.

One thing strikes me as interesting is that I bet a customizer could turn a G.I. Joe Dragonfly into a good approximation of Whirl.

I don't really like his look <_<.....guess that's why I never bought him in the first place.

OOh a comment! @firedevil@

I thought I'd try putting up something to discuss, but nobody seemed to be interesting. Oh well. What amazed me most was how easy it would be to throw in some joints.

Wow, He's block-y looking. It amazes me to think that what was SOOO COOL back in the 80's, now would get laughed at and thrown away. Kinda sad, huh...
