What's your favorite DC Comics character?

Batman is easily my favorite (real original, I know).

 

Superman is sort of a sentimental favorite, too, though he's not as compelling or as well done as Batman many times.

 

As for the less obvious ones, I like Robin and Green Arrow. And I have others, but I can't think right now.

I like a lot of characters.. not many of the big 8. I mean, I love Batman, but really, who doesn't?

1) Firestorm (Ronnie Raymond)-I used to watch the Super Powers cartoon and always wanted to be Ronnie. My all time favorite DC superhero.

 

2) Powerboy- I like his costume and I thought it was refreshing to have a male character who relied heavily on sex appeal.

 

3) Wonder Woman- No explanation needed.

 

4) Superman- No explanation needed.

 

5) Batman Bruce Wayne- No explanation needed.

 

6) Green Lantern Hal Jordan- No explanation needed.

 

7) Starfire- Visually exotic and beautiful; She kind of reminds me of Dark Phoenix

 

8) Hawkgirl (JLA animated Shayera Hol) - I never really cared for her until the animated series gave this version of Hawkgirl personality and life... Now I LOVE her!

 

9) Fire- I have to admit that I REALLY like the Amalgam hybrid version of Fire and Jean Grey, but I like her best when she wears clothes and has an actual costume. I wish more could be done with her.

 

10) Catowman- No explanation needed.

 

11) Barbara Gordon Batgirl- No explanation needed.

 

12) Cyborg- loved him in the old Super Powers cartoon, I always wanted to have a best friend like him growing up.

 

13) Conner Kent- The only superhero that pulls off a black Tshirt and Jeans. He was more of a crush for me.

 

 

14) Electric Superman- Again just a visual thing, but I really loved the way his costume came out.. He reminds me alot of Dr. Manhatton.

 

15) Joker- No explanation needed.

Azbats. Azreal too, but to a much lesser extent. Valley was just cooler when he was Batman. Hope he comes back soon....somehow.

 

Cyborg Superman.....used to be my fave, and he's still top 5, but I think over-exposure has set in.

Hmmm,...My all time favorite DC character is Batman hands down. My second favorite dc character would be Captain Marvel! Yes, Captain Marvel. I like him much more than Superman for some reason and I wish he had half as much exposure as 'ol big blue. I would love to see a Captain Marvel movie one day.

Surprisingly, not that many--I could name easily triple the number of Marvel characters.

After that it's the Flash, John Steward, Darkseid, Superman and Wonder Woman.

 

Honorable mentions would go to Green Arrow, Guy Gardner, Captain Cold, Two Face, Catwoman, Black Manta and Aquaman. Lobo is a lot of fun, too.

I've always liked DC the best,in fact,other than the movies I never really had much exposure to Marvel.At the top of my list is Batman(for obvious reasons @lol@ ) and then comes Superman ,The Flash, Jonah Hex,The Joker (top of my villains list),followed by Green Lantern Hal Jordan,and The rest of the DCU(especially JSA,BAT-Family,and The DC war books ex:SGT. Rock,Unknown soldier,etc.

And now, three underdogs who DC either doesn't know what to do with OR couldn't give a crap about:

I gotta say Batman. As with most of you guys, he was my first foray into Superheroes, what with the old 60's show reruns and the old cartoons!! One of the few DC characters I can tell you alot about!!

 

Other main characters I love, Captain Marvel!! Yup, there's something about him that I like! Love his look, his persona, everything!! Hawkman would be another!! Great underused character that could be done so well!!

 

3rd string guys I like, well definitely Wild Dog holds a special place in my heart, as should everyone know. I've only been clamoring for a Wild Dog figure since the start of the DCUC line!! Hawk and Dove are also 2 other faves I am jonesin for DCUC representation!! Love their limited edition series!!

 

As far as villains go, definitely Black Manta!! I mean who didn't think his voice was the coolest in the cartoon?? Sinestro is also a top fave, along with Captain Cold!! Most of these I'm basing off the cartoons!! Of course Mr Freeze was updated perfectly in the BTAS, and glad that DC followed suit, too bad not in the movies!!! Ugghh

 

And of course the ultimate DC villain, the Joker!! I have loved pretty much every incarnation of the Clown Prince of Crime!!! He was perfect at every stage of my life!!! From the old 60's series to Mark Hamill's version, up to Heath's masterpiece!! He's been the one DC villain that I loved every step of the way!!!

my favorite dc character has always been the Green Lantern

a normal man who is chosen to defend the galaxy due to his courage adn the will to stand up to anything without fear

sounds so coo to me and I loved the old art by Gil Kane

with his ring, the Green Lantern can literally do anything
