It seems that the Indy Crystal Skull stuff has reached ROSS'. Hadn't gone for so loooong, I almost lost out. The Mutt on Motorbike was $4.99, Jungle Cutter (last one!)$6.99, and the Akator Playset (they had about 8-10 of those) w/Indy and Uhg Warrior ONLY, was there at $12.99, along with some game with 1 inch size figures on some kind of rotating staircase.

Pretty Cool!

With the Akator Playset... Did anyone notice that the Indiana Jones figure had the neck knob just about the size of GI Joe? AND it was articulated? I mention this because The Indy Figures that came w/the Temple Pitfall / Trap sets have LOUSY articulation and large knobs on the necks. I was really disappointed with the figures and the awful no knee or foot articulation at ALL!

I however LOVE the Playsets because they can be used with any 3 3/4 figures, especially adventurer type figures. I am also amazed at how sturdy the Akator playset is. I LOVE the pistol and whip that comes with it. Very Cool!

Of course the one thing I'm grateful for is not having to pay full price for those little sets. Akator is more than worth it because of the Indy Figure that comes with it, and being able to use this set with other figure sets like GI Joe, Star Wars, Star Trek, or even lines like Speed Racer!

Does anyone know if there was a possible addition to be added? It looks like the floor of the temple was designed to attach with something else...

It was meant to attach to something else - Jedi duel platform things, and Darth Vader's operating table that came out with the ROTS merchandise, hehe. Akator was previously Mustafar, but with the added additions, it makes a far better Akator.

WOW!

All the Temple of Akator Playsets are GONE! But they do have about a dozen Ugh Warrior guys at $3.99 each and the guy w/the sword in black garb. And hanging all by itself on one hook was Elsa, the German woman from Last Crusade for $3.99!!! Wow, I swear I NEVER thought I would EVER see that.

Everytime I think I'm done, they pull me right BACK in...

Well, I got my Elsa figure, and that was it. All they have is Ugh Warriors. About 5... mmm... I was going to get them, then I found some GI Joe Sets! Cool! Got those, and made ONE LAST check around the corner before I left. And there IT was. All by it's lonely.

(sigh...)

Well, here's hoping Doctor Jones will be there next time. (Juun-yaa! Juun-yaa!)
