eeeehhhhh, not so fast buddy. I think when people say slow down its only because they still have'nt completed the wave there currently working on, or maby there even still working on the wave before last. I know I just completed my wave 7 but I had to go the ebay route. I'm just glad they were for nearly the shelf price of $15 each & the s&h was realy fair.

 

If Mattel wants to make the collector happy not only do they need to pick up the wave distrobution pace, but also the QUANTITY of each wave. Other wise were all gonna be sitting around with a bunch of half waves & amputee BAFs!

Hmm maybe i should go pick up the wave 7 i saw at the base exchange. They have been sitting there for the last two weeks, and i've passed them up because of me catching up on GI-Joe stuff.

 

 

The PX carries DCU???? I wonder if 29 palms or pendleton might have some?

 

 

Yeah i was surprised as hell when i saw it too. The one on Lejeune carries a whole bunch of stuff, Star Wars, Gi-Joe, Marvel Legends and other toys.

I noticed a post by an online retailer that their Mattel Rep has told them to expect DCUC Wave 8 mid to late April. This could change at any time, but I'm betting that it's right on. I am REALLY excited for this wave, especially Hawkgirl and Dr. Fate.

all the walmarts I went to got 2-3 cases of the "best of" series last night....

 

makes me wonder.. how are they done with wave 7 already? I barely saw any of the 7b assortment

 

 

also, I think now my stores will have a difficult time getting wave 8 because they will all be full of old figures from the "best of" cases

The best-of case is shipping to stores who backordered alot of wave 7. 7b is still shipping. 7a is the one tough to find. Big Barda is getting rare.

That would be really cool to see more wave 5 figures around. I never got any from Wal Mart. All from online. I did find another Barda, though. Its the one without the helmet. Which one is more rare? I like the helmet one better but bought both now. Maybe I will use it for trades.

going to place my order for a wave 8 set with BBTS soon but the pre-orders shipping time is 3 to 7 days with no option for expedited shipping. figures are due out to be shipped in three weeks. i think. the cases are being split like wave 7 which is plain stupid. add to this the Best of DC case coming out earlier in April its probably less likely to find the entire 6iganta wave in stores.this release of this wave is way overdue. wavr 9 is out in late august which the longest break between waves since 3 and 4 last year i think.

I've bought the last four waves online and that's saved me soooo much headache. I've barely seen any of these figures in store, although I don't go to the store that often anymore 'cause you know, I buy them online now. They cost so much now at retail, that usually I only have to pay about 10 extra dollars to buy online (inc. shipping), which is totally worth saving myself the trouble of hunting.

 

Years back I would've said that I enjoy the hunt for toys, but not anymore, since it's so difficult now. And even if I do find the majority of the figures, I'll be missing one or two in which I'd have to resort to eBay or something anyway.

 

What I'm trying to say is, I'm ready for Wave 8.

I actually saw a Captain Marvel figure on the peg today! Its the first figure I've seen since I saw some wave 4 figures!

Saw all of waves 6 and 7 on the pegs today, with the exception of Barda, between two Wal-Marts and one Target. I'm up to date. Bring on wave 8!

SOOOO glad that I ordered the all-yellow/non-gold version of Dr. Fate. That yellow and gold combo looks TERRIBLE! I'm really excited for this wave! Especially Dr. Fate =)
