Hello all TNI members! This is my first "Official" Post on here, so I though that I would share some of my work with you all. I normally post over on www.hisstank.com, but I wanted to reach out to the rest of the toy world and those that love custom figures. I use Tamiya, Citidel, and Testors Model Master Acrylic paints on all my work. Every custom is sealed with Testors Dullcoat to protect the finish. I also trim and sand all contact areas to prevent paint rub issues that plagues most custom work. I have about 10 years of service as a United States Marine and jokingly tell people that making customs is my stress reliever... If you like what you see, you can find more of my work at the hisstank under the screen name Marine_Deadpool. Just do a search and look for threads started by me. Thanks for looking and Semper Fi!

First up.... Deadpool from Wolverine Origins!

Whats better to start out te first post with my favorite Marvel Character... none other than the Merc witha' Mouth! I have had two of these sitting here for a couple weeks waiting to be customized! After giving him a wash to add some depth to the figure, I ditched the crappy upper webgear and replaced it with a modifed SE webgear. I also gave him one of Marauder Johns .1911's with painted grips, a new suppressed H&K sub-machine gun, 2 Artic SE Swords, and the AK-47 from and Indiana Jones figure. The AK is soooo much better in scale with the figure than the one that came with him. I also retouched up the crappy factory paint apps, and added some original details to him.

Next... Lt Stone.

I always wanted to do a version of Lt Stone, but not with all his gear. So, I came up with a relaxed after hours, off duty type uniform. Using a mixture of body parts, I found one that works for this setup. I opted to sculpt the eyepatch, vice just painting one over the eye, and dremeled the neck hole a little deeper so that I wouldn't have to cut the neck off and reattach it. His blouse is a NATO Black color that appears slightly washed out and not a dark black in person. In order to make the sleeves match, I sculpted a rolled sleeve over TF Flint's arm with a button tab similar to the one on the cobra BAT's arm. Using a Cobra Troopers legs, I painted his trousers a USMC Green and Black horizontal tigerstripe pattern with green jungle boots... who didn't see that comming? Using a pistol holster from some webgear, I hollowed out the bottom so the pistol and suppressor would fit appropriately. I gave him one of the smaller framed .45's, painted brown wooden grips, and permantely affixed a custom made supperssor to the barrel. To ensure that the suppressor wouldn't come off, I used a dremel drill bit and drilled a tiny hole into the front of the pistol and then glued a section of a sewing pin that I cut in there. I left a portion of it protruding from the barrel so I could slide the suppressor onto it and glue it.

Special Forces Stalker. For those of you that are familiar with ODA team members, here is my version of Stalker as a memeber of an ODA. He is wearing the traditional Woodland Camouflaged trousers and jungle boots. I cut the holster off the standard webgear and modified the leg by sanding down the "Mystery Device" found on all SE/Green Shirt/Stalker bodies. Then I glued the holster there after concaving the inside so it would set correctly.

Here is my take on Maj. Alan "Dutch" Schaefer. I added and an artistic spin on it and palyed with the fleshtones to get that gritty-dingy-been-in-the-hot-ass-jungle feeling he should have.

I used an screaming-orgasm Duke head, but added sculpted hair. Shaved off the cuffs on the arms and added some Arnold-rific choke-your-ass-out veins. Dutch is equipped with his M16-A2 w/M203 grenade launcher...also with a little jungle green paint job. Made it look a little worn like most M16-A2 service rifles look. Slap a green skivvie shirt topside, some woodland tricolor cammie trousers and matching green top jungle boots on him and he is ready to roll.
