For all the Slaughter haters around, I bet that thing will STILL be a bear to find?

Awesome! I bet he will be really short like the other figures though. I'll be bashing him onto a Joe or MU body though

Ditto. Just waiting for this to come out to complete my Sarge.

Wish the Joes had the same torso articulation as these figures have. I like the swivel waist with only the tilt (forward or back) feature for the upper torso.

Gotta admit, I'd like to see 3 3/4" G.I.Joe at a slightly higher level of playability. Before Marvel Legends, G.I.Joe was #1 in articulation. <_<

Yeah, I'm still not impressed with the 25th style of articulation, and find it still subpar to the ol' dreaded and snubbed O-rings. The heads really don't do much more than the origninal swivel necks, that went side to side, and the torso's don't really tilt or lean back much better, they just swivel at the tits now. It's good presentation, but in the articulation area....still lacking.

I REALLY miss waist articulation...

I just don't understand at all the chest joint that Hasbro invented... it doesn't do the job as well as a waist cut, or the ab-crunch joint.... and it looks really ugly.

And now their Marvel figures have it too...

why must Hasbro constantly try new/ugly articulation? the old tried and true stuff works so much better.

Their knees suck (the sausage link legs), their elbros suck, and this chest joint sucks.

I don't really like the head/neck articulation that they are using either; the heads only look good when you look at them straight on... otherwise they look like masks.

IMO.. the 25th Joes would be 100% better with RAH articulation, with the addition of double knees, and the ankles and wrists joints that they have now.

I do agree about the waist cut/ab crunch. That setup allows for a much greater range of motion and poseability. The mid torso swivel does look better, but motion is limited on both axes. My new solider uniform Wolverine barely tilts left and right at that joint.

Depends, the waist articulation was more natural since a real body twists more from the waist and it's easier to hide a joint in the belt line than an awkward mid torso kind of deal. Personally I still prefer the old way they did it but I got used to it.

I was just comparing the new MU Daredevil who has the torso tilt and the new 3 3/4 Undertaker who has the waist swivel and ab crunch. Suprisingly, they both have about the same range of motion. Daredevil's torso joint let's him lean about as far backwards and forwards as Undertaker's ab crunch. The both of a 360 swivel. Asthetically, I think the torso tilt looks a little better since it tends to flow with the rib cage definition. As long as Hasbro can make an effort to ensure there is decent range of motion with the torso twist, it's not a minus.

Just curious here: How easy is it to head swap the joe with the BNB figures? Do they have a ball joint or will further modification be required?

Yep...I feel the same.

The double knees are a nice new feature for the Joes, as well as the addition of swivel wrists (NOT FOREARMS...WRISTS) ankle articulation is good and other than those new features, they can scrap the rest and go back to the ball joint necks and swivel waists.
