Custom Grail Temple

I'm working on a Grail Temple from Last Crusade.

 

To start with I bought lots of plastic wedding cake columns, then I made the basic structure out of 2mm grey board.

Next stage with some of the columns glued on and some detail added to the facade.

That would be cool. I was hoping Hasbro would get around to releasing the traps like they did for Raiders.

I'm going to do the interior as well, I just need to figure out a way of making it on a modular basis to save space.

 

I'm going to do the main hall with a break-apart floor, then the three traps and the knight's sanctum at the end.

 

Don't know what I'm going to use for all the false grails yet.

Elsa came with the false grail as an accessory, so that can be used. The Knight came with the real grail. As fo the others, I dunno.

I've seen plenty of Doll's house kitchen ornaments that would make great false grails.

If anyones heard of Fimo or Sculpey, you could use that, or the Crayola Model Magic air-dry clay would probably work.

Games Workshop do Green Stuff, which is epoxy putty

Milliput works exactly the same a green stuff and is way cheaper.

I used Fimo to make the snakes on the Well of Souls set, so I could try that. I think I'll also buy some extra Henrys and Elsas and customize the grails.

As was said, you can find chalices in alot of 3 3/4" scale medieval stuff

I've nearly completed the details and added some sculptures. I just need to make the surrounding cliff face and then I can start painting it.
