I still watch the episodes, my favorits are the Gambler, The Dweller in the Depths, Grimlock's New Brain

, Only Human, Starscream's Brigade, The Key to Vector Sigma, The Secret of Omega Supreme and many more...

I'm big fan of the cartoon, never bought the action figures because they never look like the characters in the cartoon and also they were so expencive!!!

I wouldn't know now which season it would be, but it was the episode that had Metroplex fighting Trypticon...maybe? I do remember Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus were in it, and it seems like I remember Rodimus was questioning and struggling with his leadership qualities, but he became more confident by the end of the episode. Geeze...I'd really like to see that episode again.

Can't remember the name of the episode, but it was definitely Season 3.

It seemed Rodimus allways questioned himself

I hated him

(lol) Yeah, he never quite measured up, did he? He's the Ewoks of the Transformers universe; a mismanaged marketing misfire. (lol)

I think it made Rodimus Interesting because he wasnt the leader that Prime was

Its probally like how Prime was when he first became the Leader

I think i didnt like the 3rd season because all the Cars were futuristic but in the first 2 seasons they were based off of real cars

I have them all and I find that season three has some good episodes. I always liked the new open to the show for that season.

I hated that version of the theme

It reminded me of living in the Soviet Union

which at that time still existed

Yes I recall...I was in the Army and stationed in West Germany before the wall came down.

I thought the opening theme had alittle "edge" to it. And the theme did show up on the tail-end of the second season.

i got hit with the G1 bug around the end of summer 2007, bought up a ton of alternators, and was trying to finish season 2 but they took it off the site i was watching it from. G1 season1 was awesome, i loved the first appearance of the dinobots, plus any episode with Starscream was just priceless, that dude who was his voice, Chris something, was perfect!!

quick bit of G1 triva. There was a G1 eps where a mysterious masked man with an all to familiar voice ploted with the Decpticons to distroy the Autobots. At the end of the eps the masked man walk out in to the night and exclaimed in defeat COBRA!!!!!!! or at least he tried, he choked on it and it was funny as hell LOL.

That would be the episode titled "Only Human"

The voice of Starscream and "Snake" aka Cobra Commander was none other than Chris Latta

Actually the episode is The Ultimate Weapon. The one your talking about the Burden Hardest to Bear; Rodimus is going through the same thing questioning himself and losing the Matrix. After he loses it, Scourge winds up with it and takes over the Decepticons.

there was a "dinobot" episode that i can't find but i remember seeing where grimlock was fighting megatron and says, "me grimlock dumb, but you ugly". anyone know which one that was?

I think it wa the Dinobot Island 2 parter!!!

I still watch the DVD's from time to time!! Like I do with all my old DVD cartoons, GI JOE, D&D, He Man, Thunder Cats!!! It takes me back to watching Transformers in the morning before school!!! I had to stay and watch the entire episode before we could leave!!! I know I watched every episode of seasons 1 and 2, however 3 got bumped to the afternoon and because all my old favorites were gone, and it was in the future, I was less inclined to watch it!!!

Some of my favorite episodes have Jazz in them!! I loved that guy, especially the voice of Scatman Crothers, RIP!!! I always liked the Insecticon episodes as well!!

A lot of episodes I look back now, really have some complex ideas going on in them, things that I didn't catch on until I grew up, so to speak!! LOL!!

As far as the movie, it could have been great!! I mean I liked it as a kid!! But looking back, some things could have been changed!! First off the music!! Uggghhh, now this is coming from one of he biggest fans of 80's music, and I think it's too much!! All those songs just crammed into wherever they can find space, it distracts me from the movie itself!!! I hate it. Now the score, I love!! Of course it's composed from the same guy who did Rocky 4, and you can really hear the paralleling sounds in both movies!!!

The story itself is actually pretty good, and of course I cried like a baby when Optimus died, any grownup who said they didn't when they were kids, is lying!!! Unicron was a fabulous idea, and Orson Welles was fantastic in his final role!!! What I didn't like was them creating the new Decepticons out of old ones!!! I hated that idea!! I was a real strict follower of the tech specs, and remember they all existed at the same time!! Galvatron was the city commander, kind of like Starscream beaing the air commander and Megatron led them all!! I wanted to see Galvatron vs Megatron, not him be the same person!!! And yes, I hated seeing the Autobots die so quickly!! No one had to die just to push the new toys!!!

I have more rants, but will save it for later!!
