DCUC Wave 7

That ratio is dumb if you ask me...IMO if it aint broke dont fix it...there is nothing wrong with 5 figs per line

Booster Gold - leg

Camo Aquaman - upper and lower torso

 

Kinda wierd they decided to release parts that could not be assembled without the second wave, but maybe that's part of their marketing campaign.

The thinking was 'get more figs out there for the people to buy'. A la Marvel Legends. Sad thing, in this case, is Atom Smasher will not be any kinda huge, like the ML Galactus, Sentinel, and Apocalypse were. And even sadder, there were only 5 figs involved with those. It was WM Giant Man that allowed them to split the 5 pieces up into more, which set the new standard.

 

Or not. Perhaps it was Mattel's wish to give us more to choose from in a wave, thinking some of us would not care about the BAF, like I did not about ML. It's a catch-22, in that case. All I can say is, I do not have any complete BAFs from ML, but I have ALL the BAFs from DCUC. I wonder why that is?

I don't think I'll be seeing wave 7 at my Walmarts anytime soon. Like locusts, the wave 6 cases keep coming and coming. I tried my best to clear them out for the purpose of making room for wave 7 but instead it turns out to be wave 6 figures. So if anyone needs wave 6 characters and wants me to get them any for walmart cost, tax and shipping let me know that way I can help out a fellow collector as well as clearing out the glut of wave 6 stock at all four of my walmarts to make room if not for wave 7a at least wave 7b or wave 8.

wave 7.5 is out. it also seems as if they fixed the blue beetle's trunks. here's some pics! theyre not mine, but check-out the batman custom!

here's both boosters(wonder if they can boost me a coat?) the guy said that the classic's skeets couldnt be removed from his back, but the modern could.(hope it was just a defect!) i feel that they could've at least painted the hole in his back partly yellow.

Well one of my Walmarts got in something other than a wave 6 case but it wasn't wave 5 or 7 it was a case of wave 4. I didn't pick any up because I already had them. The only thing I saw of interest was the silver version of Captain Atom and it was interesting since I only ever saw one other one. All the others were like 8 gold Capt Atoms. I don't think, contrary to Mattel's assertion, that they were 50/50.

If anyone needs him let me know.

Thanks to my pals Ares6009 and Darth Vhemic I'm edging closer to having wave 7. Ares6009 grabbed Kid Flash, Big Barda helmeted version, the re-issued Batman, and Captain Cold while Darth Vehmic was kind enough to go thirty minutes away to check a comic shop that had wave 7a and 7b in but unfortunately news of it must have spread quickly because all that was left was a helmetless Barda which he grabbed for me. Thanks guys.

 

Then I get home and find my DS9 series two set and MOTUC Faker. It was like the holidays:lol:

good haul for me today...kinda...

 

got wave 7 (the 1st wave) Both versions of Big Barda & Captain Cold. I didn't buy Flash & Kid Flash (waiting for ongoing trade with Doom Saber).

 

Then I got my complete Wave 6 from Cornerstore. NICE!!!

 

I'm starting to like these figures over ML. The sculpts are amazing especially on Capt Cold.

 

Can't wait for Blue Beetle, Booster and Blue Aquaman.

I found a Barda (helmeted), Kid Flash and Captain Cold.

 

Is this 7a?

 

I have been ordering from BBTS, but I couldn't resist them. If I can't find the rest in store, I will probably just order the set online.

 

Between DCUC and MOTUC, I am going to go broke.

He is a very popular character. I've gotten all of the first part of wave 7 except The Flash.

Yeah, the store where I found mine had two Flash, 3 Kids and 3 Capt Colds...went back today and the other Flash was gone, but the others were still there, along with one Batman and one GL...

 

I'll keep an eye out for another Flash.

I agree with the last part because thats what i try to do myself. Say they hit CA well i keep checking the progress from there. Because you can watch it pop up in CO or texas the GA and so on. When it hits FL or NY i know at least there on the east coast and thats when i start looking heavy.

 

NOw to touch on your relese date comment maybe mattel or any of they toy makers should have a relese date like DCD They wouldn't have to do it like for all there toy lines but for action figures and certin girls toys i think a relese date could work.

 

But acoording to matty there at least sayin they should hit within a few months or next moth which is a step in the right direction but a real relese date is needed and also more stores should recive the cases for the relese date.
