I was in the shed today going through some stuff I haven't had room for in years and to get rid of soem things so I found the the large size astromechs from over 10 years ago.I came across R2-D2,R5-D4 and R2-A6.R2-A6 was still in his Phantom Mence packaging while the other two were in there packaging from 1998

Observatory Astromech Prank

 

 

 

Everyone loves R2-D2 right? Well the students at Minnesota’s Carleton College took it one step further when they turned the campus astronomical observatory into a giant R2-D2!

OMG that building is sweet! That might be the largest custom ever made... what scale is that? 100/1? Bit of a switch from the 1/32 that we're used to.

 

So are those Star Tours ones the rarest of the astromechs? This thread has started me checking around ebay for all things droid! I don't think I'll ever catch up to you, but I am trying to assemble a nice "sale of the droids" display. I'm only a couple of droids short!
