dcuc series 5 found!

Are people still having a hard time finding these? Went to Walmart by my house this morning (Buena Park, CA) and they actually had lots, several complete sets, more then when I first found them there and picked up my set. I was stressing the Red Hulk Target exclusives when they came out, worried I was not going to find a complete set, and now that series is clogging isles at every Target I go. So I thought well maybe just Target is on top of keeping their exclusives on the shelves, now seeing this with DCUC wave 5 at my Walmart, I being to have some hope that maybe I'll actually be able to finish my Ares wave at retail

Yup, the one on La Palma in Buena Park Mall. They had at least three Atoms, 2 Black Lightings, a butt load of Riddlers, 2 Eradicators, a couple Amazos as well. And that was just what was visible, since I had them didn't bother digging through them, but they had about 6 pegs worth hanging there. Good luck tomorrow, hope they're still there for ya tomorrow. I saw them at 10ish this morning and they looked fairly untouched. I might pick up another set tomorrow for trade as I'm continuing my quest for the the Marvel Legends Ares series. dude, they were all gone. I went there around 8am. Just a bunch of Riddlers. I saw a variant Human Torch Ares wave on the next aisle though.

 

I know man, I went back the next day too, and all they had was a whole bunch of Riddlers. Guess they went through them fast again, if I see some more I'll post again. Also if anyone was looking for wave 2 still in SoCal, they Target at Westminster Mall (was finishing last minute Xmas shopping and just thought I'd check) had all of wave 2, to include Harley (about 5-6 of her, minus the one I picked up for myself to complete my Grodd, yay!) and classic Aquaman (like 5-6 of him too) and also Jason Rusch Firestorm. Happy holidays, indeed.

I got the Jason Version Firestorm from Target . I am all done with the DC Universe...for now. Waiting for Wave 6. Whew! My wallet is waving a white flag right now! @bH@

Well went to my local Walmart today actually went to see if they had the new wave of the Transformers Universe. I actually gave up looking for DCUC wave 5 already. Well didnt find the new TF Universe figures but as I am walking away I look and notice what looks like a DCUC figure behind one of the old movie hulk figures so I figure let me look and lo and behold its Riddler. Well after much digging around I managed to snag him and Eradicator.

during holiday travels I looked at every Walmart from Chicago IL down highway 55 to St. Louis Mo, then I-70 to Kansas city, searched all in the south kc area, then hit every walmart on the way to and all 5 in Springfield MO...and found nothing...NOT EVEN A SINGLE WALMART THAT CARRIES THE LINE. @grumpy@

 

 

I've looked all over Ohio (where I live), Michigan (I was there on business), New England (Including CT, MA, NH, and VT becaus my in laws live there), and PA (on my way to New England). While I was finally able to comblete my Marvel Legends Ares, I did not see a single one of DCUC 5 at any of the 20 or so Wal-Marts I visited. Obviously I want them pretty badly.

FINALLY found a frickin' Riddler, though I went way out of my normal territoy to see about it. Natch it was at a Walmart Supercenter, which I have none around me. Is that the type of store everyone else has found them at, or have they shown up at 'regular' Wallys also?

Well got paid early from work this week and decided to try my luck at that Walmart again before heading to work. Managed to find Blacklighting and Amazo after much digging. I'm sure they probobly had an Atom somewhere but I ran out of time as I had to run to work. Also finally found a series 4 Wonder Woman. Now just have to work on finding the rest of Series 4 and that final Atom figure from series 5. BTW Did anyone ever find that Modern Red Tornado figure from way back when?

Only one of my wal-marts (so far) have the wave. I was lucky to get one of each and made sure all of them were in great condition.

Some Michigan Walmarts seem to be getting Wave 5 very sporadically. I found a Riddler at the Livonia Super Center (Plymouth Rd./Middlebelt Rd.) and Riddler and Amazo at the Roseville store (12 Mile/Gratiot). The Roseville store still has a Riddler.

 

Anyone in Michigan having any luck finding Wave 5?

Haven't seen Series 5 here in Indiana. Now Series 6 is hitting...that sinks for me. Hopefully one Wal-Mart will carry them soon.

Finally found an almost full set at the LAST Walmart in my area I would have expected to. Just missing Eradicator now. However, since I found them where I did, I can see no rhyme or reason as to which Walmarts were chosen to carry these, if not all. (There are plenty of larger, busier stores) The quality is noticeably cheap in the production area, especially around the knee joints, but I don't know if I'll ever be that lucky again, so bought them.

I found some of wave 6 at WM on state road 70 this morning. But they were on a miscellaneous toy isle sitting behind some nerf toys. The killer moth, and shazam were missing, but they had at least 4 of the other three figs. Nothing else at any of the other 4 walmarts in my area. No wave 5 to be seen at all down here.

I stayed home today, and went hunting for Wave 6 but found the final components I needed Wave 5, The Atom and Riddler. So far I have bought 4 full sets and have seen lingering Riddlers and Amazo. I don't know why we got them so heavy (thankfully) but they are so slim everywhere else.

 

Also found 2 full sets of the new IH lines
