Haven't been on here in a very long time. Sheesh last Sonic figure I picked up was Blaze and that was almost a year ago. I have not been seeing much Sonic stuff. Any word on the Rouge the Bat figure? Or any new figures at that?

Sup gang. I think that they're working on Lost World figures and can't talk about it due to possibly spoiling the game. It does give them reason to work on Wisps for a pack or for a pack-in idea. I think we should just give them a tiny bit more time and see what we get when LW comes out.

That is a plausible theory, yes. But it's been almost a year since new 3" figures were released. Patience, however, is a particular virtue of mine.

I am annoyed with everyone raging on some of characters' re-design though. I see why they changed Knuckles to larger and muscle guy, since well, he IS Knuckles, it's more fitting, I am curious with how Sonic'd look, it's possible that he'll be wearing a vest or something, maybe goggles? I sure do like how he have more spikes, having hedgehog look more. I think Amy Rose is no longer wearing a dress, it's hard to tell if she have new clothes on or not. But it looks like she doesn't have giant rings by gloves anymore. Tails, I can't see anything different besides gloves.. Is it possible that his gloves will look like.. something from old Sonic show? I dunno. lol

I look forward to this. =D

 

Sonic is confirmed to be playable in Super Smash Bros 4 (Not official name, I just like calling it fourth.) which is great news for those fans who enjoyed Sonic+Megaman comic crossover of 12 issues like me! I can now have Sonic vs Megaman so dream came true. :3

 

 

I want to say that I absolutely love his model for this game, it's really nice and colorful. Unlike Super Smash Bros Brawl where nearly every character is fairly dull colored, I think.. I didn't like Sonic's model on there much. =/

 

During the end of summer, I went on a vacation in PA and bought those guys. They are truly amazing.

 

 

BUT WAIT! There is a problem..

 

 

This happened when I opened the box. I tried so hard to push the shoe piece back into shape but it was impossible, it just couldn't "pop" on. When it does stick, it'll fall off after one weak impact. I returned the Sonic knight AND Shadow figure for a refund and bought DVDs of Adventure Time somewhere else instead. Why bother collecting knight figures stuff like this happens? That bothers me a lot. I don't want to take a risk buying another broken one and then have to return it again, you know..? I'll continue collecting 3" Sonic figures. I did get Chaotix team figure pack which I am happy with.

 

Also, there was a global challenge on 'Sonic Dash' app game which I joined in to complete and help out. The reward for it was playable Blaze. :-D Though, all of characters play exactly same on Sonic Dash, it's still nice to be someone else other than Sonic. Because as of now, we don't get enough modern games that allow us play as others. So this is big deal to me.

 

Come on, people. More stories or information! :-)

Im kinda hoping to god that show wont redesign everyone, that sounds like itd be preeeetty hard to see happen. And from the looks of it everyone is reaaally going to be changed. Weird, I have so many mixed feelings already. And a bad feeling in the pit of my stomache....but anywhos.

I'm taking the "wait and see" approach on the new show. At first the new look rubbed me the wrong way, but if it's gonna be a separate continuity anyway, then why the heck not change things around?

 

Anyone going to New York Comic Con this weekend? Maybe Jazwares will have a booth and finally show something off . . . but probably not

New show rubs me the wrong way with the designs. I'm concerned by the sheer amount of stupidity Cartoon Network has put out recently as well. We'll see. I've been away for work, so it's been tough to post. =O

It's been a while since I've been on these forums, marching band has been keeping me busy. I'm still out of the Toy biz, I'm still not sure when I'll get back to collecting. As for Sonic Boom, ehhhhh......@ the character designs but I'll give it a chance, but I just hope it's not Johnny Test and Annoying Orange in CGI form.

Maybe Sonic Boom isn't gonna be good as people expected it to be but like others said, I'll wait and see too. I'm just interested because this is CGI show and it involves Sonic characters, it is true that their design changes seem odd. But the thing is, though? Sega have been always really good with cutscenes and CGI scenes in Sonic games since Sonic Adventure (in my options) so I am curious of what they can do with this as actual show instead of something for the game!

 

In meanwhile, I'm totally excited about Sonic Lost World, I am getting it for 3DS but I may eventually get it for Wii U if I get one!

Jazwares seems to be repackaging the hell out of their stuff, the 10-inch Modern Sonic and F4F figures pack have been repackaged (but those two are common so I won't post eBay links).

It's the same molds that all the accessory pack figures had. The ones that didn't get updated articulation then still don't have it in this pack. It is nice to FINALLY see a correctly painted Silver (white gloves) and what looks to be a lighter yellow version of the brownish one from the accessory pack.

*YAWN* What's goin' on folks? I'm wakin' up here 'cause - somehow - Toys R Us put out a few more of the single packed Sonic figures (the ones with the accessories). Funny thing is: the last time I saw them? LAST CHRISTMAS. Sooo...are they only putting these out on Christmas? 'Cause there has seriously been no Sonic stuff until now. Just the same stuff. And I KNOW Jazwares is supposed to be putting stuff out! I think they're also putting out Adventure Time stuff, but the TRU near me won't stock anything. They just...let everything rot. Not a single new piece of product. Is it just my TRU? I mean I check online and I see new Jazwares product that supposedly exists, but I see it nowhere else.

 

Ah well. I did buy another regular Sonic 'cause the single pack comes with some rings, so that's cool. Still looking for the Amy with the hammer, though. I also hope that 5 inch ones with the light up emeralds comes out! Who knows?

The brochure that was posted months ago showed the 5" scale classic Sonic with light up emeralds that came out recently, and had images from games or mock ups (not the actual figures) of more 5" Black Knight figures, 5" figures with light up emeralds, and the long rumored Shadow/Rouge pack.

Well I haven't been here in ages. I've been busy with school work, and playing Sonic Lost World on the side.

 

 

I got the game on release day, but didn't get to play until this past week. I'm so glad they issued an update to grant you lives for 100 rings. Why that wasn't in the game from the start is beyond me. Anyways the game is pretty fun overall. Although I hate Frozen factory act 2 with a passion. That was easily one of the worst things in a Sonic game I've played. Seriously who was asking for Katamari in Sonic? It sure wasn't me.

https://www.spindash...esse-2014/8398/ Just gonna bump this thread, Nuremberg Toy Fair shows off some Sonic stuff, including the already leaked Silver Super Poser but there is also the new Black Knight Silver. It also leaks a new 2015 Sonic title that will come out on Wii U, PS4, and Xbone. The Super Poser is a bit cross-eyed, but the Black Knight Silver looks neat (despite not liking Silver all that much).

I believe I read that jazwares no longer has the master toy license for Sonic. Or is it just Sonic Boom? A little bit upsetting, either way.
