Happy Holidays everybody! I got Rayman Origins, clothes, socks, 60 bucks (just about enough to by All-Stars Racing Transfomed ), and some other cool knick knacks. I also, I just realized, the Sonic that came in the Amy pack has a cracked arm joint, I barely noticed!

The gameplay is fun, but it's a pain too unlock everything, you have to complete a race, challenge, etc. in all difficulties to unlock all the characters, also the game looks a little weird in HD to me.

I love the darker coloring on that Sonic figure but... really. XD I almost laughed out loud when I saw that.

I'm an "unlock everything" kinda guy myself I haven't gotten very far into the game, but so far I'm loving it. I like the challenge. Feels like I'm really earning the unlockables! If you liked the first one, I would definitely say it's a step up

 

Also, happy belated holidays everyone! I didn't get too much Sonic this year. Besides Transformed, my sister got me Sonic Monopoly and a Sonic wall scroll set (with Knuckles, Tails, Robotnik, Green Hill scenery, and Sonic in various poses). Also got some DVDs, two X-Men statue busts (Gambit and Emma Frost), and a Boba Fett bathrobe. I was in nerd heaven!

 

In Jazzy Sonic news, my TRU still didn't get any new stuff in after I found Charmy and Amy / Hammer. But I was in NYC for New Years and stopped by the TRU there, where I found Blaze and Shadow / Doom's Eye (as well as all the other accessory figures besides Silver, though I didn't buy any of those). The paint apps on most of them were really bad. The red paint on my Blaze's bindi is a little messed up, but I can fix that and the other two Blaze's they had there had very clumpy-looking paint all over her torso.

 

The Sonic and Shadow I got were totally screwed up, paint-wise but I have enough of those two that it didn't matter at all. Dooms Eye looked great!

I don't believe anything if I don't hear it in a an official announcement with pics or some kind of proof directly from Jazwares. As we all know, even things they have announced can take many months to make it to shelves so I take everything that random websites put of for pre-order as a grain of salt.

Maybe he did, but being planned or talked about behind the scenes is a whole lot different than actually going into production. I do remember him saying the Charmy was in the works for years before he got released just recently. Didn't Joe leave Jazwares about 2 years ago? That would put Charmy in some stage of development/planning for about 3 years.

That's not an announcement. An official announcement would be made by a Jazwares press release, website, or through their facebook. That site saying that Rouge is "planned" and not even in a direct quote fro Joe Amaro himself isn't an announcement. Many times behind the scenes, toy companies are working on several figures that are at varying stages of the development process and some get stuck in development hell or just get pushed aside for other things. I'll believe a Rouge figure is coming if there is a prototype shown or if there is some kind of package mock up at Toy Fair in a few days.

Yes! Now THAT was an announcement. I'm sure we'll see him on display at ToyFair. Hopefully he's in a two pack with a better painted Classic Metal Sonic. Oohh, what if the next wave of two packs is that pairing and the rumored Shadow/Rouge pack. That would stay true to the trend of having one classic and one modern comic pack in each wave.
