New Sonic Figures!

Got a couple figures I bought on ebay coming in monday hopefully. I know I just started collecting this line like a month ago but I think I'm building a pretty decent collection. Pics soon

I've decided that I'm going to make a paper maché Perfect Chaos. I'm not entirely sure how I could make him look translucent, but I'm thinking I could maybe use plastic bottles or something.

I'll take a look when I get some free time XD. How tall would you guys say Perfect Chaos would be compared to Sonic? How tall would I need to make him to be in scale with the 3-inch figures?

Hpmm, if you want it to be in scale, it would have to be huge, remember Sonic tiny compared to it, and it takes about 3-4 spins to reach its head. I'd say if you wanted it to be the right scale I'd say maybe, the size of a small 3 set chester drawer, which I'd say about 20-25ichs. Otherwise you could settle with 10 inch one instead but it wouldn't be really to scale imo. I'd love to make one too, but it would take a hell of a lot of work, good luck my friend, can't wait to see it.

Oh, I was thinking around 30 inches. Sonic was about the size of his brain. Either way it's a big project.

Yeah I'd go with 30 inches, it'll look great nonetheless! Hopefully it'll inspire me to make one and give me ideas to make one!

Woody and Buzz is correct.

 

It'll probably take a few days. I'm debating whether or not I should make the jaw articulate as well. That might be a nice touch. I hope it looks good enough to display with the jazwares figures though XD.

Wow...a complete fake item, all ive seen of that ”quality” are those dinky clocks and party invitational stuff, this eye sore is in league with all the mario garbage theyve made. (legitimatly fake mario stuff, its allllll over ebay.)but, oh well. I picked up the redo 5 inch classic sonic, another super pack, and classic eggman, whom i will be buried with. Yeah, I liek it.

Just a headsup if it hasn't already been mentioned -- the eyes on the modern Sonic 5" resculpt are no longer at a strange angle. This is from what I've seen at Target, no other stores.

I believe the fixed eyes on the 5 inchers was mentioned...

And omfg that Nendo Sonic, can't wait to get him, maybe doubles or triples omfg, I want him so bad, lol.

Yeah, really want that Nendo Sonic! Hopefully he still comes with the gate that was shown back when he was announced. He better... sure as hell isn't cheap.

Nendoroid, or Nendo for short, is what that chibi style of figures is called. Good Smile Company produces them. They have to be imported so they are always pretty expensive for US customers to buy.

Nice review, HyperTails! Posted a comment as well. Also picked up a Super Pack. It's great! And, as I'd hate to say it, SG didn't live up to my expectations. The stages are FANTASTIC, but it's very short.

Can we all just agree that SG is a notion that SEGA might be back on track with sonic games? I mean, so what if it was short? So was castlevania 1 and that was a fun game, lets not let playthrough time effect the quality of future games. They had sonic unleashed which was a start, sonic colors improved on the design, and their SO CLOSE to getting it right again, lets not put down SEGA's confidence now! We have a chance at having a great game put into the works later on down the road!
