New Sonic Figures!

I beat Sonic and the Black Knight in three hours. O_o

Is that good or bad? Was the plot good? How about the graphics and controls?

 

On a side note, I went toy hunting yesterday. My local KB's is almost closed. I was able to snag some of the old Metal Force figures for about a buck and a half. They also had the new Wolverine figures. Though that was odd. But didn't complain about the price. About 4 a piece for those. Really dig them. The Metal Force ones are just ok looking.Didn't open 'em yet. Might give them to my local Toys-For-Tots or Salvation Army. Not sure yet.

Meh, the story wasn't bad, it was just really corny. I liked the gameplay. It was really weird at first, but you get used to it.

 

The story goes like this:

 

Basicly, Sonic's eating some chili dogs before a date with Amy, while Merlina (The lady from the King Arthur boook) summons him. Sonic lands in the strange new place, takes a look around, swallows a chili dog whole O_o, and runs after King Arthur who has Merlina cornered. She stops him and they warp away to some forest where Sonic pulls the talking sword, Caliburn out of a rock. Meanwhile, Arthur tells the Knights of the Round Tabel to go after them. Caliburn tells Sonic to see the Black Smith before they begin, so Sonic heads into Camilot while Merlina stays behind. Caliburn gets a nice toon-up, and they head towards the Lady of the Lake, who resembles Amy. She tells them only the three sacred swords the Knights of the Round Table have can stop Excalibur. They race to find them when they meet up with Sir Lancelot, Shadow's look-alike. They duke it out, and Sonic wins, taking Lancelot's sword. They continue their quest when they meet a crying girl asking for help. Her friends and family had been taken by a dragon, so Sonic races to save them. On the way, they meet Gawain, Knuckle's look-alike. They fight, and Lancelot, thinking there's no reason to serve his king after losing holds his swords up to his neck. Sonic bonks him on the head and tells him there's more in life than serving a king, and takes his swords. They save the girls friends and such and once they return to her, it turns out she's the Lady of the Lake in disguise. She tells Sonic he's a true knight. They continue when they meet Percivile, or Blaze. They fight, she looses, walks off a cliff, Sonic saves her, takes her sword, and Caliburn tells Sonic he's a knight of true power and is ready to fight Arthur. They find Arthur on a far away island, and fight him, obviously wining. He gets up from his beating claiming he's imortal. Sonic then stabs all the swords into the ground around Arthur, and slashs him across the chest. Arthur then falls to the ground, turning to dust. Puzzled, Sonic takes Arthur's remains, Excalibur, to Merlina. Sonic finds her under attack by the Knights of the Round Tabel. She then states that Arthur was nothing but an illusion her grandfather, Merlin, made. She takes Excalibur from Sonic, stabs it into the ground, and the whole kingdom starts to crumble. Sonic and the Knights barley escape, wondering what to do. The Lady of the Lake then shows up telling them to place their swords in the sacred stones surrounding the kingdom. They follow her orders, and then Sonic hunts down Merlina. She wants the story of King Arthur to live on forever, but Sonic knows that can't happen, or else stuff will go out of control. So he tries to stop her, but the swords to powerful for him. She even ends up breaking Caliburn with it! Sonic, nearly unconsious, then asks the Knights of the Round Table to focus their swords power to him. Then, a nice golden suite of armor surrounds him, and Caliburn is fixed and better then ever, as they duke it out with the now giant, fully armored Merlina. After defeating her, Sonic tells her nothing lasts forever, and she should enjoy life while she can. The knights then say they should disban with no king to serve, but then Caliburn dubs Sonic as the real King Arthur. Sonic freaks out as they kneel tto him and the credits begin to roll. After the credits, Sonic is telling Amy about the story, and how it's why he missed the date. She doesn't believe him and goes after him with her hammer. The End.

So if I want to get some sonic figures what the best line of figures I should look for ?..

As of now, the best figures in my opinion are the ReSaurus Sonic Adventure line, and the Joyride Studios Sonic Adventure 2 Battle line. They're both pretty rare, though, and both companies are out of business. Your current best-bet is eBay, but if you're gonna buy some in stores, Jazwares has re-released some of Toy Island's Super Posers, and those look pretty nice. If you wait, the new figures that Jazwares are working on should be out this Summer/Fall.

And SuperVintendo64, you are totally right... I do like the Joyride figures better than the ReSaurus figures though (I wish they were 5 inches like all the others). Anyway I wish they could have made more Joyride figures...

I'm just watching the sonic x Subtitles again so it sort of has me interested again in sonic stuff! Plus I read a new sonic comic book that came out this week... or was that last ... Would be nice if they made some more cartoons sonic x style .... I really enjoyed that one

A good cartoon was The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog... Good games were Sonic3 & Knuckles and Sonic Adventure2/ Sonic Adventure 2 Battle... YOU DO NO WANT TO TOUCH ANY SONIC GAME FOR THE 360!!!( Unless it"s Unleashed, that"s fine...)

I know It's random but it's true... The Devils this year can/have broken all kinds of records this season:

 

They have 47 wins this season and the team record is 49, they have 11 games left this season

 

Patrik Elias broke the record for most points (goals and assists total) as a Devil (701)

 

Zach Parise can lead the league in scoring goals (he's in 2nd with 41, Alexander [my name YAY!!!] Ovetchkin is in 1st with 50) and he can become the first Devils to get 50 goals in a season, the record is 48... He can also become the 1st Devil to get 100 points in a season, the record is 96 he has 87

 

Travis Zajac can have the best plus minus (+1 if your team scores while you are on the ice,-1 if the opposing team scores while you are on the ice) he is tied for 1st with +36...

 

Martin Brodeur broke the record for most wins by a goaltender (551) and is getting close to the shutouts record (103, he has 101) a record once thought to be untouchable... (he's done this all with the Devils)

 

I'm confident that the Devils can make it to the Finals if not win the Stanley Cup...

 

Kinda getting back on track, McFarlane is finally making a new Brodeur figure and I wanna get it when it comes out...

 

That's the problem of not having KB, KB and T"R"U seemed to be the only stores that would carry those sports toys...

Oh well, I guess I can talk my dad into going to T"R"U...

 

Really getting on track, I WANT A NEW E-102 GAMMA TOY!!! One that is up to scale with the 5 inch toys...

We need a new E-102, an Espio, because legit, that guy has such a following. How does he not have any figures of him? It makes no sense. Also I don't mind the bent arm. It would look it could work for some running poses.

Hi guys I'm new here but I'm a huge sonic nerd. Supervintendo64 may know me from youtube. But I can't wait for these new sonic figures coming up but looking at cmdstore.com they already have them for pre-order in may and june but they don't have any pictures for some odd reason. Jamaro if the sculpts for these figures are made make it a bit the size of the resaurus line because they will fit right in with them. Plus it'll save jazwares some money if they're the same size as ReSaurus figures. And like the werehog keep it solid I just hate when some figures are made hollow it seems kinda cheap to me. Jazwares is doing a fine job right now and I'm sure the new figures will be a success.

P.s by seeing the werehog Jazwares needs to work a bit on durability of the figures and make em' sturdy.
