New Sonic Figures!

That reminds me, I also had a question to anyone who had received a replacement Metal Sonic. Does he come with a stand at all, or is it just the figure? It's not a big deal since I can just use the stand from the old figure; I was just curious.

I sent an email requesting a Metal sonic replacement and recieved it today. Its MUCH better. All the joints moved! But anyways, it came in a strange bubble wrap package. Id suspect they'd have to establish a full order system. It might be an awesome idea. And id buy from them alot. But I dont see that happening for a while

 

 

Just in case I ever have a figure problem down the line, what exactly did you have to do and include for them to send you the new Metal Sonic? I tried doing that twice with the Werehog and nothing.

Take pictures of the damaged figure, call Jazwares, tell them Joe Amaro said replacements were being offered, send an email with the pcitures and the name of the rep you talked to on the phone.

However, I warn you, the new ones aren't much better with the hand thing. Mine's still about to come off, so I've resorted to not moving it as much. You have to use very little force to rotate them properly. I'd suggest doing what Alexx mentioned earlier in the thread.

Have you checked an F.Y.E in your area? That would be a good bet if your TRU dosn't have the Shadow. Just a heads up though at F.Y.E the figure might be a dollar higher than at TRU, but its still better than paying $20.

Have you checked an F.Y.E in your area? That would be a good bet if your TRU dosn't have the Shadow. Just a heads up though at F.Y.E the figure might be a dollar higher than at TRU, but its still better than paying $20.

This Metal Sonic will have all silver joints (hips), brighter colors and will be the much improved plastic.

The package is going to be super cool, it will be a diorama where Eggman is building Metal Sonic!

 

I am trying to do some type of variant on Metal Sonic but SEGA is very strict on variants.

 

I am answering all the SEGA blog questions now, but there are over 65+ questions!

So I have to work a little, answers some questions...design a little, answer some questions...paint a little, answer some questions. LOL!

it's basically Metal Sonic but in a black and gold paint deco. It's also an official character to boot!

......I basically love you guys. I'll most likely HAVE to buy the metal sonic and eggman set. There will still be a Eggman and big release correct? Also the Gold Rivals Metal sonic AquaSlash mentioned sounds like an extremely awesome idea to me! I CANNOT wait for eggman and big.

They may be doing replacements for metal sonic only, as far as I know. Oh and I dont remember where the post is but as jamaro said in a earlier post, you just have to take pictures of your metal sonic and send them in an email. They were VERY responsive and I got my replacement in 5 days! The packaging was a bit odd though. But anyways I also think their only addressing the FIRST wave of metal sonic's. After he is released again I think they wont be doing replacements anymore.

That TRU Robotnik pack sounds amazing! Will Robotnik look like classic Robotnik or more modern Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik? I'm assuming the latter. Technically he looked like he did in the early games/SatAM when he built Metal. HOWEVER, he did recently build the latest Metal Sonic in the comics looking the way he does today.

 

I'll just pretend that the Metal in the TRU pack is the SX40SU1 Model!

Mine seemed to be better. The hands are STILL fragile. I fear moving them too much but my replacement had MUCH better articulation. My first could move all his joints except right hand and left foot joint. The replacement had a better paint job and could move all his joints!

 

But Jamaro, I think itd be best just to make the hands not move. Metal sonics design makes his hands just too skinny, OR you guys could beef up his arms. He wouldnt be as accurate but I say Playability over accuracy ANY day. (With childrens toys that is.) The say....FIVE inch metal sonic (if it were to happen) would of course be able to be much more accurate.

F.Y.E is an entertainment store that has movies,games, and cds. I'm not sure if they are in Canada or not, they could go by a different name like how Bestbuy is called Futureshop in Canada.
