New Sonic Figures!

Ooh! I have an idea! We've talked about packing figures with a comic book, but what about packing figures together with an upcoming VIDEO GAME? They would sell great and possibly help Jazwares lose their TRU exclusve! Also, anyone excited about Sonic Classic Collection?

I didn't know they were doing another collection! I bought the few on the Gamecube awhile back and kinda left it there. I'm a little wary, however. The Sonic 1 "port" on the gameboy advance was horrible. If this is a straight port of the originals, then I'm all for it! Love to have some classic sonic on the go. If it's like the GBA version which was not a port, but a remake from the ground up to look like the original, then I hope they did thier homework this time. Also, I don't see anything in the list about being able to play the versions when you connect them to S&K. If this turns out to be good, I'm totally gona get it for my nephew! He needs to see the roots.

About the figures, though: It would be awesome to get some exclusive with it! Something like a translucent yellow Super Sonic; ya know, nothing that will hurt to miss if you can't find it.

That isn't a bad idea. And not very far fetched. Hell, NECA's doing it now with Dante's Inferno. So I'd be all for it.

I have Shadow and Silver, but I don't have a very good camera to take shots with. I can wrangle up a couple if you don't mind grainy webcam looking shots.

EDIT: SNAP, someone(Wakeangel2001) did a Scourge custom

Gotta say, not bad, though they might have neglected the eyes. I was considering a sculpted jacked, but the cloth one works fine too.

Looks like jazwares has released new prototype images of Big the Cat.

Haha I beat the little kiddies to this one, I sent it into sonic gear without giving credit to anybody or party. Just sent in the link by itself. Oh and in other news I was snowed in with two and a half feet of snow so I didn't go to toysrus. I imagine I probably won't get these due to angry parents at toysrus and christmas shopping procrastinators.

That Big looks ill. Not a huge Big fan, but I'll totally get this. Looks hot.

Looks nice! Can't stand his part of Sonic Adventure, and I don't have any interest in him, but he looks good all the same!

Just because some people might've not browsed through the site:

bigandshadow.jpg

The size is pretty much perfect.

Also, this things are out:

Don't think I'll be buying it, however.

Looks good! I have been so impressed by Jazwares recently with their new figures. I can't wait to see Amy, Metal Sonic, and Eggman next!

Awesome custom.

This line looks to be one of the best video-game based lines in figure history. If Jazwares keeps up this level of quality with their figures the Sonic line is in good hands. In fact, I would really like to see Jazwares take a crack at some other lines in video gaming. Megaman immediately comes to mind (a Rockman Zero in this scale with the proper accesories would be epic) but I also have been thinking of how incredible a Dissidia 4-inch line would be. Don't get me wrong Play Arts is cool but having 4-inch Cloud, Squall, Tidus, Sephiroth, Warrior of Light and co. in the same scale as DC, Marvel, Star Wars AND Sonic would just end worlds. Granted it is a long-shot what with SquareEnix being so ritzy with their products, but am I the only one who'd like to see some Final Fantasy swag made for actual "action figure" purposes rather then "posing figure"?
