What's the hance of a new Sinestro??

I finally found him after all this time!! And while my Sinestro has great paint apps, and really looks awesome!! Damn if he aint the tiniest lil thing!!! I mean even if the top of his head reached the chin of Jordan he'd still be somewhat alright, but it doesn't do that!!

 

Hell every online source has him at 6'7 and Jordan at 6'0!!! WTF!!!

 

Those of you who are diehard DC fans, are they right, is he that tall?? I always remember the old cartoon and he wasn't that tall!!

 

So my question to you guys!! Will we get a new Sinestro??? I want one at least Robin's height, he doesn't have to be buff like Jordan or Nightwing, but at least as tall!!

I did see somewhere that mattel has no planes to redo or reissue another sinestro they did say sorry for it being small but that it happens sometimes when the molds are cast blah blah blah. But no planes to put out another one

I think the best bet would be a custom. His small(er) head might look a bit off, but at least his body would be normal.

You could get the DC Direct one in the Sinestro Corps outfit.

I never noticed this until you brought it up. Sinestro IS small. He works better with my DC Direct Hal than the Universe one.

It's really unfortunate. The yellow Sinestro is still one of my favorite DCUC figures, but if he was full size then he'd probably be my number 1.

This is such a crime. Sinestro's sculpt is absolutely perfect, but that scale issue makes my eyes hurt... especially when he's standing alongside other DCUC figures.

 

I'm afraid we're stuck with him for the long haul. We're a very long way from getting any apology figures for this line.

I'm thinking once they start re-shipping the big guns, maybe by then the distribution will be better and these things will be common, at which point I'll pick up an extra Green Lantern and customize him into a decent Sinestro.

Well I finally opened him up!! I love the figure, very well done!! The size, although it's still annoying, I an live with. Especially since the zises vary from figure to figure, I mean hell look at Solomon Grundy, he's huge!!! Besides he has always been drawn very lanky compared to GL, and well it fits the character!!!
