The end of the embargo!!!

Well after reading posts and looking at some cool looking new product, I went and bought an Ironhide classic toy today! I haven't bought a transformer toy since I was buying European released Action Master figures in Germany back in 1990-91. I said many times that I have been and always will be a G1 collector but you folks have sold me on the classics line and maybe even some of the animated stuff!!!

 

I don't know if I should thank you all or curse you.....

Seriously, Transformers are better than ever right now, from the latest Universe toy to the finest G1 re-issues in the Takara Encore line. I'm taking a break from TF collecting so that I don't miss out on a couple other cool toy lines and also to buy stuff for my 7-month-old's first Christmas, but I'll always remain a diehard TF fan-- bring on "Revenge of the Fallen" with its giant new Devastator and new mold Leader-class Prime!

Points for the effort... But you knew you were fighting a losing battle... ... The best time to collect is now... True Classics and Animated are the top lines in my book... Dare I say better than G1?
