This isnt school so i really dont care about spelling it exactly right as long as most can get the jist of what im sayin.

 

The problem with this simplistic justification is that your 'jist' is lost because your post is too much of a decoding chore to get through.

 

I've covered this ground with this guy over at the DC forum to little avail. His consistent retort is always, "i typ my way so dun't read me post if no like tuff...Grrrrrr...Fire bad!"

 

My conclusion is that there's a little showmanship going on here on his part. Typos happen accidentally and spontaneous. Who makes accidents so regularly and so often unless they are deliberately making them? It's become his schtick.

I never said i was a great speller. And my spell check isnt working for some reason so i try to spell it right but most time i just spell it the way it sounds in my head. The way most ppl shorten words down now a days we will all be back to grunting any way. This isnt school so i really dont care about spelling it exactly right as long as most can get the jist of what im sayin. Iv already graduated in 96 i did my time in the hell hole.

On the internet, you are communicating via text in a variety of different ways. On instant messengers, casual and abbreviated dialogue (OMG, u, rly, r, i c) is acceptable, because you're really just trying to have a typed out conversation. But here, on a discussion forum, a is desired while we talk about children's toys and restrain our contempt for each other's opinions.

 

You will find many people here who will comment negatively on your posts just for that quality, regardless of what you have to say. I am not one of these people. I merely tend to ignore people who type like you, because if you can't take the time to tap out "people" insteas of "ppl" ... let's be fair, whatever you're talking about can't be that much more enlightening.

more sophisticated approach.. are you kidding me? I think some of you out there are a little to full of you own bull.Just because some one doestne spell out every word doesnt mean what they have to say is any less worth hearing or reading. Its not a fair view of who they are or what they have to say.

 

I only shortin down a limited amout of words. Anyway this is suppoed to be a place to enjoy ones self and chat about various things but some of you out there have this holyer than thou attiude its very unbecomeing maybe yall have been here longer or to long and see it as the way you should act. I have givein nothing but respect to the people here.

 

Just because you atriculate every word or spell out everything doesnt make you the end all be all that dont go for just you it goes for alot of ppl around here. dont be so dang condacending this is a hobby and a joy to do and untill your getting paid to type on here lets not all be so judgementel.

 

iv been collecting action figs since befor most of you were a glimer in your parents eyes so it dont make me any less worthy to be here cause i misspell something or mis hitting a key here and there. I try to think about what i say and translate it to type its not as easy for every one has it is for the gods of type that come here.

 

Part of being a collector here is accpeting were not all the same and we all bring different things to the table. We ( collectors ) should feel comfortable to come here and be us cause the rest of the world makes fun or puts us down for being who we are. None of us are perfect None of Us do everything the same. Thats what make us who we are And just cause a few think so highly of themselves dont mean you should make other feel less for who they are or how they type or spell or dress.

 

so you can keep telling your self your more sophisticated but i dont see it that way i charish all people here no matter how they shortn words or spell or type we all have something to add here. or even what you think of me. We will all be judged soon enough

LOL i would put this thread under the kettle calling the pot black. I didn't see your original post but im gussing if you were asking to get a particular fig, one of the mods took that as one appropriate to a trade area. The reason we have specific areas for specific posts is we don't want the general GIJoe area getting spammed with for sale, for trade ect ect type posts.

 

If your posts wasnt asking to get a figure but just instead just general information about the fig then the mod prob just mis-understood. Either way starting a whole new thread saying Joe fans are touchy because your post was moved seems a bit much and a case of over kill in it's own right. As for this thread its now closed with everyones misspellings including my own and all.
