why was my last post moved i really didnt ask if any one had one for sale i just asked about the box set for quick kick. But yet i see other posting there store makes more since to move that post than mine when im really just asking if the quick kick box set is new or if its been out for a while... and the other post was locked or cancled after another guy cussed every one out.

It's not sensitivity, it's a case of "a place for everything and everything in it's place". Your post had nothing to do with the topic, that's why it got moved. I'm sure there's another topic started for the DVD boxed sets, you could ask there.

What you said dont make any since.this is a gi joe thread and i was asking about something to do with gi joes box set or not i started the post so it was my topic. and this is a place to talk about gi joe things right. So that everything in its place stuff isnt going to work. when i started the topic and was asking a question about something to do with gi joes

 

Iwant to state that i didnt mean to step on any toes or do anything out of place ok. But i think i have a valed point and thats why i said anything more.

Actually, what I said makes perfect sense. And I'm having kind of a tough time reading the rest of your post because of the grammatical and spelling errors...no offense. From what I can discern, however, you are claiming that it's okay to talk about anything GI Joe since this is a GI Joe forum.

 

The forum is broken down into different threads each one discussing a particular topic. If you want to talk about when the new action figures come out, you wouldn't do it in the thread started for bad mouthing Ebayers. If everyone talked about any random aspect of GI Joe in every thread, if would be difficult to carry on a conversation about anything!

 

Don't feel slighted or that your stepping on toes, just follow the simple rules of the forum and you'll be okay.

I guess what they are trying to say (without actually saying it) is at the pinned area of the G I Joe Forum, is a thread specifically dedicated to trading and selling. That is where such a thing should be posted. If not, then the the rest of the informational threads would be lost amonst the multitude of threads created ant time someone wnated to buy/sell/trade something.

are you serious? do you not understand the concept of separate topics and staying on them. if there is a topic discussing the comic, how on earth is asking about whether Quick Kick will be released have anything to do with that? if you want, start a new topic about it in the Joe thread, that is okay. but the idea that every topic is fair game to talk about anything just because it is in the Joe section is ludicrous.

 

why am I even wasting my time trying to explain something so simple a 1st grader could understand to someone clearly not capable of understanding such an elementary concept on his own.

I didnt ask to buy or sell anything i said i was looking for a quick kick fig and i hear it came out in a box set and since i havent seen the box set it came in i asked if it was something new and i just havent seen it or was it something that came out a while ago and i just missed it.

 

Then i came back here to check the post and it was moved to the wish list area. Which i didnt think was right since all i did was ask a question. And honestly it was more trouble to move it than to just answer the question.

 

But its all good some one did answer my question so its not worth droneing on about it its just silly to me others can talk joe figs but since i dont come in here much i cant or get moved. and im not new to joes iv been collecting them since they first came out in the 80s. Matter of fact i have the first quick kick its very played with but i have it

First off i did start a new topic about it. Second you are just proveing my point about how touchy most of the reg gi joe guys here are its not like it was just stabbing some one in the face. to say hey this is the deal with that and move on. Even maybe discuss how kool it is or whatever. We have had many posts in dc that were about one thing but spawn into something else thats what discussing is all about. but im not gonna get in a peeing match about it.

Like you, I would rather have the lone (new) fig that came with it, and I can see where you would have been 'confused'. Most likely it has to do with you being unlucky that a mod was paying attention at the time! I'm confused as to why they haven't banned the other dude yet, for all his trolling. He doesn't insight fits so much as just makes us all say "Wow, someone's special..."

You responded to the words but not the point, Shmo.

 

On the internet, you are communicating via text in a variety of different ways. On instant messengers, casual and abbreviated dialogue (OMG, u, rly, r, i c) is acceptable, because you're really just trying to have a typed out conversation. But here, on a discussion forum, a more sophisticated approach is desired while we talk about children's toys and restrain our contempt for each other's opinions.

 

You will find many people here who will comment negatively on your posts just for that quality, regardless of what you have to say. I am not one of these people. I merely tend to ignore people who type like you, because if you can't take the time to tap out "people" insteas of "ppl" ... let's be fair, whatever you're talking about can't be that much more enlightening.
