I don't know if this has been asked, but here it is again!!

What characters would you love to see updated with 25th Articualtion and style???

The characters I really liked are,

Scalpel

Bombstrike

Electric Eel

Medi-Viper

Burnout

Big Bear

Sparks

Doc

If any make it, I want to see them for sure!! I really liked the idea of Scalpel, and while I never got the fiigure, it was done so well. Loved the colors and the all around look of him!! Bombstrike I did pick up, and thought what a cool chic, and she definitely needs to be updated. Hell pal her around with another t-shirt wearing Joe, Bazooka!! Big Bear's bio really brought the whole mythos together!! I think adding him would just be awesome as well!! Sparks has been needed since the orignal ARAH line, so we need him again, together with Breaker and Dial Tone!! Finally Doc. I want to see her working with her pops and Lifeline!! Cause in my Joe universe, no one has died, and all are the original characters!!!

I would like to see em all updated, but these are a must!! Oh and finally I do want to see Venomous Maximus come back!! I know he was Hawk transformed!! But I think there is enough leeway that he can make a re-appearance as a seperate entity, perhaps creating him from the same substance that gave Serpentor life!!!

So who do you want, and why!! Please don't just list, give reasons!!! Get conversation started!! #US1#

I would love to see Scalpel, Barrel Roll (DTC version) and Black Out in the series. To a lesser degree, I would buy Barrage, Overkill or Kamakura. Alot of VvV characters were the definition of lame: Hi-Tech, Harddrive, or Doctor Link Talbot. But the worst offender, in my mind, was the Sand-Viper: Cobra's desert trooper who looks like he came out of Wes Craven's nightmares instead of the Saharra.

I love that they had a blonde Bombshell-- I just wish they didn't have to call her Bomb-'strike'. I always vote for more ladies; I feel it's only the gentlemanly way. :) My vote goes for the less-silly-looking Mindbender, too. Do updated looks count?

But the worst offender, in my mind, was the Sand-Viper: Cobra's desert trooper who looks like he came out of Wes Craven's nightmares instead of the Saharra.

Sand Vipers filled a niche that Cobra never really had covered before. Sure, Desert Scorpions were around, but as a punishment assignment for ne'er-do-well Vipers, and a step above Toxo-Vipers, they didn't feel like *the* desert troops. The Sand Vipers' outfits were a bit over the top, but that helmet would be a pretty effective tool in the night. Just a pair of beedy red eyes in the distance... then as they get closer... RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!

I guess I like the name more as the basic Cobra desert trooper. Scorpions, like Range-Vipers, should be more specialists in that environment.

As for new sculpt characters, I like a lot of them. Barrel Roll, Burnout, Kamakura, Scalpel, and Overkill among others. But most of the designs leave room for improvement. I'd like to see a DDP-accurate Kamakura, close to the Spy Troops version, but without all the proportion problems. Barrel Roll v1 was pretty cool, but relied on the Spy Troops gimmick... otherwise it was kinda bland. V2 was just generic as hell. I imagine that figure is Barrel Roll before he joined GIJoe.

Blackout was another proportional nightmare, and his Plague design was nicely streamlined. I'd rather see that one done in the 25th line. Scalpel was another bad figure for a good character. With that stupid hood helmet thing, and his instruments strapped to his chest... plus that moronic "stretcher thing mounted to his back... what a bad figure. But a blonde guy in scrubs as the Chief of Medicine in Cobra's hospital, with a unit of Medi-Vipers at his call... that so works!

Of course, I'd also like to see Firewall, Zanya, and Heartwrencher get figures, like they deserve.

From the ST/VvV/DTC years, I vote for Faces, Scalpel (and Medi-Vipers), and the Stall siblings: Black Out, Barrel Roll, and Bombshell (I always called her that instead of Bombstrike). I think there were other worthy characters, though, like Dart, Depth Charge, Hacker, Sand Viper, and Cross Hair. I'd also love new versions of Joe Colton, G.I. Jane, and the Steel Brigade vs. Plague guys.

As for characters that haven't gotten new sculpt versions at all, Sparks and Mercer are at the top of my list.

Meh, probably only Kamakura. He seems to be the one character from the VVV years that really stands out, and is most deserving. He could use mostly SS parts too, for all I care. I would rather Hasbro reuse parts for figures like these than actual RAH Joe and Cobra characters.

I'm glad that a lot of you want Scalpel to be updated!! He's definitely my favorite new character in the Joe mythos, and would be welcome in the command center of my Terror Drome, if I had one that is!! :D

You must mean Ghost Bear. Big Bear was the Russian from the RAH line.

I suppose a 25th Dart and Black Out could be cool. Crosshairs and Bombstrike are good enough IMO that they don't need an update. I'd also like to see the Torpedo with the knit cap done in 25th style.
