The Riddler was the figure I was most looking forward to in this wave, but he's kind of disappointing at first glance. He appears to have no neck, as well as a bit of a hunch. I'll still buy him, too, but he doesn't seem to be what I was hoping for.

All the in-package poses are terrible, especially Black Lightning. It looks like he's dancing. This is the wave I've been looking forward to the most all year, but it looks like much less effort went into them than into other waves. I'll still get all of them, but they aren't great.

Eradicator looks like junk. Riddler isn't too bad, but its a shame they dropped the ball on his head sculpt.....the others look pretty good though.

Looks like they're showing up now. Someone has Atom, Black Lightning, Riddler, and Eradicator on ebay.

That's what I was afraid of. Truth be told as much as I love this new line and understand the marketing strategy behind this wave I'm really not happy it's a Wal Mart exclusive. I have a hard enough time finding these when they're available at several chains and these feel like they're a lost cause, as wally world doesn't do a very good job of keeping their own damn exclusives available. The last few retailer exclusive items I've been after took a lot more difficulty obtaining than I really felt was neccessary, and I'd still be looking now if I didn't check every day. I don't feel like you should have to go to the store and leave empty handed again and again just to get something you want, because if you miss one day then you might be completely out of luck. I'm pretty sure I'm just going to be buying these on ebay for more than retail because they'll be impossible to find. I hope Mattel doesn't make this sort of thing a habit.

 

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE DCUC Classics, I just would also love to be able to find them with relative ease, I'm sure I'm not alone on that.

 

On a more positive note, Metallo is sweet!! Love the kryptonite sculpted into the chest.

Anyways, thanks to Mattel's DCSH/DCUC line we now have good representatives of the whole Reign of the Supermen, except for a '90s Con El. Get cracking, Horsemen!

Eradicator and Black Lightning goggles should have been clear. They look...weird. Good figs though, but they could´ve been better.

Its been said that Eradictor's goggles are opaque yellow painted gold. I'm hoping someone might take some acetone to the glasses and see if the yellow looks any better than the gold. Still not clear, but might look better.

Wow these figures look amazing really! clam I agree with you about the faces they look "cartoonish" very much so , or at least more so for me with the riddler than the others... Not that I am complaining about it I think it works for him..

Because the Estates of Siegel and Shuster is either contesting DC's right to the name, or has already won the rights to Superboy away from them.
