Cyclonus really looks so much better in these pictures, when he's transformed properly. Nice to see they are re-issuing classic screamer too! He looks better then the first release. I think I will grab him as well!

 

and new robot heroes!!! I can't believe they are making more dinobots, that's awesome. and now the insecticon team is complete too.

Aw, I hope they do a repaint of Inferno as the yellow one with the hook! That was one of my earliest transformers (so early that, by the time I knew what it was, all the parts were missing and I had NO idea how to turn it into a truck). Too bad he doesn't have his missile fists. That was my favorite part, even if he didn't actually shoot them off. He had buttons to do so but, perhaps I broke them, I dunno.

Yeah lets release Classics Starscream again, except this time with a slightly different deco! Which we could have done with Thundercracker, Thrust and Dirge instead.. but probably won't!! YEAH.

 

First time we see VP and I think the Scourge repaint as Predacon Bruticus wasn't mentioned until this. I like what they're doing with VP, but probably not enough to buy it a third time. I wonder if this Predacon Bruticus will be tagged with a "Robots in Disguise Series" instead of "Classics Series." Inferno looks great here, although he is enhanced by photoshop. And I worry that the kibble hanging off his shoulders will get in the way of his articulation..Still his proportions look better in these pictures than the SDCC slides. Hound and Cyclonus still look great. Cheetor looks really iffy, but improper transformations will do that..

 

I really like the Brawn legends figure for some reason.. I usually don't dig that scale.

More?.. Oh wait right we have grimlock or something don't we ?.. & another insection is good THey changed his name from bombshell to hardshell LOL... while stupid at least its sort of fitting! For me the sharkticon blows my mind I'm getting them all even the goofy BM figures :S My only hopes though in getting them is that they do the rest of the BW &BM figures as well S: other wise its just a big waste of $$ :S I don't suppose they said anything about robot heroes at SDCC eh?.. I remember they said something about SHS but can't remember what ...

You know, I'm still happy with my Henkei Starscream. And it looks like Legends-class may become my new favorite scale-- which is better for deluxes like Cyclonus and Screamer to look imposing and rain down terror!

First the Walmart-Exclusive 'Legacy' Clasic Bumblebee, and now a repainted Starscream in retro stripes... Would anybody here be interested if they made more varients of the '06 Classics, not as new characters but in more retro or cooler paint jobs? Yeah, I guess it might be asking to open up a can of worms, but I'd be interested in a different take on Classic Optimus or Grimlock, kinda like Henkei w/o the chrome. Especially if they threw in some new accessories like Prime's trailer or Firebolt for Roddy!

Hound, Inferno, and Cyclonus look AWESOME. I hope for two repaints out of Inferno(Grapple and Hotspot!). The RiD Bruticus redeco of Scourge looks very cool and the Legends stuff is a MUST. I don't like the fact that Slag is renamed as Snarl!

I am hoping for them to do a bot like add on similar to that of ginira for classics how bad ass would that be?.. They could never do "just a trailer " for prime so they would have to make it a robot/base or both of some sorts really ...

His altmode is somewhat realistic, but nothing to get excited about. His bot mode is a box w/ appendages; not enough of an update, imo. For a good g1 update, look at mirage, prime, and megatron. Those are updates. Most of these classics 2.0 figs don't live up to classics 1.0 in that, and other areas. At least we have animated, or I'd be more upset.

I don't see how any of the TFU stuff isn't "living" up to classics. They all look like their respective characters, and have fitting alt modes. Not to mention they are vastly superior to just about every TF line that came before. That is enough, I think.

Hound's alt. mode puts me in the mind of the Warthog from Halo, which makes him infinitely cooler than he already is to me. Love Inferno, but Cyclonus? "Freakin' SWEET!!" (lol) What a pleasant suprise THAT figure is. I've always loved the character but not the toy. That thing looks perfect!

 

I may just have to break down and collect the Classics/Henkei/Universe stuff. These things are just awesome...

Classics Bumblebee is a fantastic mold, but IMO looks a little too big next to other Classics like Rodimus, Voyager Optimus, and Starscream. He looks great w/ Alternators or Movie Leader Optimus, since G1 Bee was always a little guy. I bet that if they could have done more then two scales in the original Classics line, we would have gotten a smaller 'Bee. The new one looks fantastic for a Legends class and has convinced me not to get the Encore Minibot set.

these things look so pretty in pics but they are a different story once they arrive at stores. Inferno has a great metallic finish on these pics - I'm sure it will be cheap plastic.
