Big Update On Shawn Michaels' Injury Status!

F4WOnline.com reported Tuesday evening that the prognosis on Shawn Michaels' triceps injury should produce sighs of relief within World Wrestling Entertainment.

 

According to the story, the word going around is that Michaels only suffered a minor tear of the muscle. Consequently, surgery does not appear necessary.

 

Reports say that Michaels was never going to miss Sunday's Unforgiven match against Chris Jericho, but had the injury required surgery, he would have missed several months following the pay-per-view. He still might miss time, but that absence will not be significant.

That's good news for WWE and HBK fans. Although, I hope that Michaels does take the time needed to let the injury heal properly without rushing himself to a return. Also, let's hope the Jericho-Michaels feud ends at Unforgiven... this has been the feud that will not end.

It's weird, you'd think that with the two best promo-cutters in the business that this would be "Feud of the Year" by kayfab PWI standards, yet it sounds like most of us just want it to end.

 

I guess for me, I can't digest Jericho as a serious heel - as a cocky comical heel yes - but as a serious heel he's not imposing enough. And quite frankly HBK is old and needs to take some serious time off to heal. These two guys are great performers - probably the best in the biz right now - but for some reason this feud is just at the wrong time.
