I found a lone Black Spiderman today...which is the first sign I've seen that these things really do exist. I left it there because of the price. I can't believe these cost twice what ML cost in their heyday with Toy Biz. Something about that seems so wrong...

Has anyone else noticed that Spiral has five fingers on each hand?  Isn't she supposed to have four?  All the pictures of her on the box had her with four fingers.  I understand Hasbro might be trying to save money, but a little more accuracy would be nice.

Also, has anyone else noticed that Hasbro makes one leg longer on most of their figures?  They can never stand up straight.  One leg always has to be bent in some stupid way to get the figure to look like they're standing up straight instead of leaning.

Toybiz never had this problem.

Picked up a Spiderman today in Illinois. Saw the whole wave including variants but I only wanted Spidey and at $15 a pop I glad I did. Excited at the prospect of finally having a great black costume Spidey to add to my collection I come to find that after I open him I have to immediately fix him as his right leg below the knee was put on backwards. A pot of boiling water later he's tip-top but still. Quality control on that kind of level is seriously lacking.

Funny thing, I made it into the store with a couple of scalpers and one was hovering around me in the toy aisle clearly debating whether or not to buy them all or not. I could have scooped them all up and sold them on the secondary market, but then other collectors would have been left wanting. Sad that we have to dodge these guys to get our fix. And with the ever growing prices of figures the last thing we need is an inflated secondary market cost plus shipping. But I digress.

Love that Spiderman. Best Spidey fig thus far IMO. Paint apps and sculpt is superb. Maybe a bit of a small head compared to the neck and a lack of a mid foot joint but they are only minor compare to the rest of the figure.

i finally found a black spidey! only ffigure from this wave that was left on the shelf, at least it was the one i wanted most :) $15 is soooo over priced for the regular sized figs. i thought that price was only for the larger hulk set :(

I seriously think Target has these mixed up with the Hulk legends. They see the Hulk ones were priced at $15, and they're labeled Legends, so these new figures must be that price as well.

The Spiral thing is ok, she's had both four and five in the comics, they just went with five instead of four.

As for the leg thing? i've had more trouble with TB figures having a longer leg then my Hasbro figs(my YJ does suffer from this though) and it is annoying.

Got mine this morning at a Chicago Target. Found Spiral and Black Spidey first, then asked a nice employee for help to get the rest. Can't wait to put him together. Didn't have the time to complain about the price, i'll handle that later. Wish I found them in CA, the tax here is 10.25%, crazy!!!

Finally got my red hulk put together today, my favorite hulk fig. They should use this body as a green repaint with new head and call it good. Nice to have one with fists and an ab crunch, pleased with the wave as a whole easily the best since ML15

The only figures I have that I opened are based on Toybiz sculpts so they're practically flawless. Toybiz sculpts + Hasbro's quality control = Good. Not $14.99 good, but $10.99 good.

I was lucky to be in the Target Store in Norwalk, CA while the guy was stocking. I saw Marvel Legends box and was sooooo excited. I wanted to buy the whole box but the guy said I can't that they have to take it out, made sense there were 2 black spideys. I bought every figure including the Variant Wolvie. This series is sweet! Much better than the crappy Annihilus series. But for 14.99 each, OUCH!

I went to another Target in Downey, I got another variant Wolvie. Will open 1 and keep the other 1 MOC. It's really hard to beat the scalpers here in So Cal. Damn! Just got lucky! Adam Warlock is awesome!

Red Hulk is awesome!! I haven't attached his left leg yet cause the Warlock figure has a melted infinity gauntlet, and i'm waiting to trade it in for a good one. I decided to open the XForce Wolverine instead for the right arm. Can't believe how quick that one Target ran out of these, if I don't find another Warlock, i'll just open this one for the leg and give away Adam to some kid.

if you complain and say that the tags say that price they should give it to you, if not complain more and ask to speak to someone else about it ... and if you do get it for that price buy as many as you can and send a set to me please for real ;)
