Henkei make some killer paint jobs for the classic more with the g1s then hasbro.

Bluestreak looks a lot better with that dark gray instead of the black on Hasbro's. The rest are okay although nothing spectacular.

yeah they look great I could go all out on this line if the club had not screwed us over on the exclusives I'm just waiting now for the next screw over on this line & japan is well known for being awful with the amount of exclusives they put out as well S: heck we even had a classic repaint dark optimus as a SDCC exclusive ... not as main of a character but what if they had decided to do something better like the club did hmm?

I'm fully behind the idea of Powerglide being red, but I was thinking a darker red. I really don't like the way this one looks.

I think it's just the lighting in that pic, because prowls light bar looks a bit too pinkish in that picture as well

its the light and its behind glass so the person who took the pic might not have adjusted it to get a good pic.

It's not behind glass, and the lighting can only effect it so much. So, he's still ugly.

Powerglide's color doesn't bother me as much as does the fact that I think he looks subpar in most other areas. This second batch of classics looks too disappointing, w/ only around half the figures looking good enough to buy, imo.

i say there is about 2 to 4 i wont buy. but the rest yes bring them on.

So far the only real dissapointed has been Octane. Everything else is pretty good.

i think if they made galvie in the ultra and power glide in deluxe would of been better. but over all im very happy with this line. i have been out of TF for along time but the classics got me back in to them.

Agreed. Galvatron should be a powerhouse. But at least he can fight Titanium Rodimus Prime! Powerglide is oversized but I feel that he should be in red and not almost the same color scheme as Silverbolt.

I recently saw Powerglide at Wal-Mart, and wow...you guys are right; he's HUGE!! I didn't expect that at all. And in a weird way it turned me off. If I had been tempted to get him, the huge size (and off colors) would turn me away.

 

And I love the chrome weapons and accessories on those Henkei Classics. It gives them even more of a G1 feel. I was suprised at how that made me feel when I saw these pics.

 

I'd better be careful. I may start collecting again. I was already thinking about collecting the Encore ones...

Y'know Wheeljack, I briefly considered it because I absolutely loved Megatron and Starscream's alt. modes, and I always appreciate the animated version of any given property. Ahh...I don't know. I'm not really feeling it right now, although I also love the animated Grimlock...

Yeah...I'm REALLY tempted to get some of them, namely the Henkei versions of Prime and Megatron. And I love the new Ironhide. I've waited twenty-four years for a cool Ironhide figure. (lol) And I have a soft-spot in my heart for the original Prowl/Smokescreen/Silverstreak mold, so I'd have to have Prowl and Silverstreak too...
