Did Anyone Notice This?

I picked up my VAMP yesterday, a beautiful vehicle which I highly recommend.

Inside the box, I was surprised to find an enclosed poster the back of which is a catalogue of other Joe products. The front is a neat set-up of the various Joe figures and vehicles arranged in a scene that looks like a secret Cobra bunker where Cobra Commander and Destro are getting ready to engage the M.A.S.S. device. As they're doing that, GI Joe is storming the bunker. The VAMP is driving up. The Armadillo has just broken through the wall! Snake-Eyes is climbing down a wall! In the foreground, General Hawk is wrestling with a Viper, and Major Bludd has the drop on him. Now this is the crazy part...

Major Bludd is aiming that rocket gun of his at General Hawk, BUT THERE'S NO ROCKET IN THE GUN!!!

Did anyone else notice this? What gives?

^_^ I have to check this out once I find a VAMP!

Sounds pretty crazy! ^_^

I really like how Hasbro puts in a lot work in making the cover box art really nice!

probably the fact that it isn't a real gun, and the rocket doesn't really fire, so it becomes arbitrary whether a piece of plastic is in it or not. it's not real, so there is no need for the rocket to be in there.

that, and I'm sure it was just an oversight.

Also, all four vehicle packs come with the same pamphlet.

And the DVD Battle packs, I just which they hadn't folded it so many times!

Agreed, they're really hard to flatten.

No joke! I just opened up one of mine and I have to say the overkill on the folding was a bit unnecessary, considering the size of the box they came in. <_<

I've got 2 of them in between to pieces of cardboard (just slightly bigger than the posters themselves) and underneath my bed mattresses. Once that flattens'em out a bit, I was thinking of then glueing them to some poster board with some glue stick. That way each side is represented on seperate boards. The poster's pretty cool, but DAMN those wrinkles are ridiculous.

Or perhaps he already fired the rocket and missed Hawk.

Wow...Thanks for just leeching all the fun out of it.

Maybe try an iron? That may work.

Ah! Now this I can accept.

I guess Major Bludd had just fired his missle, missed, and was holding the pose as he muttered to himself, "Ah, Damn it!"

After all, it's not like he can just keep firing away. The Major has to reach around to his backpack, pull out a fresh rocket and reload before he fires another shot. He really should have aimed for the Armadillo.
