How can no one be excited by this?!!?

This was a line that did its level best to drive its fans away.

 

They hit us with a barrage of endless Supermen and Batmen. The few new characters they would release were impossible to find. This three-pack stunt is just a way of shaking us down for ten bucks for a new figure (with two figures were already have thrown in for free.) They refuse to address the problem that these figures absolutely won't stand on their own! ...and as a final slap in the face, Mattel says to us, "What? EVERYONE wants a Hal Jordan? Well, we're making a few for us and that's it. The rest of you? Tough!"

 

I'm among those ardent few who Mattel couldn't shake. I toughed it out, hunted, and persevered and I think the only one I really missed out on was Volcana... but it sure wasn't easy!

 

That being said, I'm thrilled by everything they showed and hinted at. I really do hope that we get these and that Target doesn't pull its support and kills this. This could very well be the BEST super hero line of all time!

YAWN. Little in the way of Flash related stuff to keep me interested. But then again I don't think I'm really who they are looking for in the way of customers. In any case, no Captain Cold, Trickster, or Captain Boomerang even after they all starred in a stellar JLU episode has me a little miffed. Shouldn't we be finishing up the people who were actually on the show before throwing in random characters from other Bruce Timm related features?

 

There better be a Rogues six pack in the works soon and hopefully they throw the animated Weather Wizard (even though he looks like crap) in there, as well as a Jay Garrick (yeah he never appeared on the show either but a ton of those guys only had random small cameos anyway).

I love how they wil have a Sinestro in his outfit but No Hal Jordan?? I mean come one. Give the man a break and release him. I knwo they released him once a limited run of a 100 which was CRAP.

i loved the line when the toon was on and it was hell trying to find a bunch of them but after the toon finished i couldn't find deadshot, barda etc. so i basically gave up on it and sold all of them on ebay.

 

i really hope these great characters get released but its mattel and their horrid distribution and that means this has scalper bait written all over it.

I'm excited to finally see new figures and have the opportunity to pick up a Volcana without have to pay $40-50 dollars for her. The new assortment of villians looks great.
