DCUC Infinite Heroes

Just based on what they were showing at NYCC they have enough figures to make this line last through the end of the year.

This wouldn't be the first line to fold before everything announced has been released. I just don't see this moving at all.

They move just fine when there are new figures.

One of my Targets also has the 3 packs on clearance. I'm assuming they are on clearance just to finally get rid of the first few waves. None of the singles are on clearance so that means they are not cancelled. Another Target only has one Hawkman & Thanagar Warriors set & they did not put them on clearance.

1. Early pictures of the DCIH Hal Jordan pack-in figure that comes with the new animated Green Lantern movie have started to surface. It looks like the articulation is greatly improved from the line’s previous releases, is this closer to the POA scheme that we can expect for DCIH in the future?

Yes, with even more articulation on the way!

I have been monitoring a few locations for new figures, or figures from the latest wave. The ones that I have been trying to grab have eluded me. If they are new figures, they fly off the racks, which is why at 2 Walmart locations and 2 Toysr Us locations in my locality, they only have few figures left, and those are from the older waves. The ones that are left over are mostly Spectre, Black Lightning or a Green Arrow. Recent additions of Gotham Swats, Gordon, Wildcat, Alexander Luthor, Superman Prime, Omacs, Nightwing, Star Sapphire, Starfire, Powergirl etc. etc. were gone as soon as they landed on the pegs. I guess it is a location thing, where demand is higher than others, and sometimes the other way round.

The singles still seem to sell fairly well in my area - Target recently got the OMAC/Supergirl grouping and they were gone pretty quickly. Alex Luthor is warming pegs pretty heavily.

They linger a bit at Wal-Mart due to the higher price there, though.

Hey guys recently picked up 4 of the 3 packs (Superman, Flash, Hawkman, Green Latern/Green Arrow) at Target for my son's bday. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with finding Batman as that is definitely one of his favorites. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

I just got my Best Buy exclusive Green Lantern figure yesterday, and based on the new articulation on this figure and the new hip joints on some of what we saw at SDCC, I must say that Mattel realizes that they made mistakes from day one with this line, but they are working on improving their faults.

I like the new elbow, knee, and foot articulation and well as the arm swivel in the forearms. The only things I can think of to greatly improve this figure is different articulation at the neck and use the new hip joints that were shown at SDCC.

Each of these figures will feature Mattel's newly designed articulation for the DCIH line.

Supergirl sure doesn't look like she uses any.

Will these be online only?

These are going to be up on Mattycollector on August 17 along with the JLU Marvel family 4-pk. It looks like that is just a repaint of the Supergirl that was released with OMAC.

I got the Marvel Family 3-pack at TJ Maxx for $5.99, they also had the Gotham Knights 3-pack, but I already have that one. I figured that I could swallow that price for Mary Marvel since that is basically a single carded figure, since I passed on it at Walmart for $16.88 a couple of months back.

Geez! I still haven't seen that one. I guess I will have to check my TJ Maxx/Marshalls stores. Would sister store AJ Wright also have them?

well you definitely won't have a hard time finding these as no one is buying them.

I've been buying these figures ever since I've been finding the 3 packs at ROSS for $5.59 for a bit. So far only got Green Lantern, Black Canary, Green Arrow, the Lex Luthors, and Supergirl, Bizzarro, and Wonder girl. Well today, I finally opened two sets.

Set 1:

Lex Luthor... The two Lime Green Army Builders have loose legs, and kind of bent to the left. The purple Lex has GREAT articulation though... that's it.

Set 2:

Wonder Girl is pretty good. She has a lot of range, but looks a little strange when used in too many different poses. Bizarro is ok. Nothing Special. Supergirl was very cool looking with her Blue Outfit, and seemed more colorful than the rest. Cool! Well, until I found the right arm will break if I try to use it, and her left leg joint is deformed and it just looks bad if you dont hide it.

wow..how underwhelming. I'm glad I choose the 3 GI Joe Command Packs rather than all of the extra DCUC 3 Packs they had. I'll try to get Superman and Supergirl again later. Hopefully they'll work better than the ones I have now. They do look good though... Check out the damage for yourself...

Anyone still looking for the Battle For Metropolis or Attack on Oa sets, This week you can take an extra 20% of the clearance price bring the prices down to $27 for the BFM set and $19 for the AoO set.

The only reason I had for getting a Battle for Metropolis set was Capt. Atom. I think I will wait until the new one comes out...

The Luthor from that set is pretty cool and won't be on a single card like the rest of those can be. Plus at $27, that is less than $4 a figure.
