Hulk Legends are out

Yeah, they're only limited to 2,800 at SDCC. But they'll be in retail stores and hasbrotoyshop.com

Anyway, I saw a request for FFF with other BAF's on some sites so I took some:

Sentinel, Fin Fang Foom, Goliath (Giant-Man BAF), Super Adaptoid (Icon Cap), Blob, Dragon Man (Pitt BAF), Apocalypse, Tenebrous (Galactus BAF):

Isnt the SDCC set limited to 2008 sets? I"m going for one day on Saturday but I'm sure they'll be sold out already.

most likely I'd go a few days sooner if you want it but then it also depends on just how much the regular wave hits before this ... I may not even buy it if its coming out in full force unless they like change the colors or something of it ... its just point less buying the sdcc version now specially if it costs more than the store sets

This whole release has been weird, because I've been having a heck of a time trying to find a good place to pre-order these online, and most online retailers haven't been able to offer any solid listings.

ToyRocket has had them up as "Back order" for an age, and some of the other out fits offer a kinda "We don't know what we're getting for sure or when we're getting them, but you can place an order anyway." tactic.

The BigBadToyStore just listed a case of 8 up for pre-order at $119.99, and the case only has 2x Wendego, 2x End HULK, 2x Scarr, 1x She HULK, 1x King HULK.

So they still don't even have the other figures to offer while the whole set seems to be popping up at retail. @grumpy@

I can't wait to get these badboys in my hands. Those were some nice pics above. If I found some at WalMart at the bottom of a pallet wrapped in plastic someone would be very angry at me because they would've been mine. I would've downstacked the whole pallet to get them. haha

I was thinking about trying to get the case out, but I had just done the same getting the Joe vehicles from the bottom of another plastic wrapped pallet, and I didn't want to press my luck. Plus, the area was swarming with employees.

I found a complete set of wave 1 at TRU today on my lunch break. The skins have good texture and they all include a paint wash. The joints have fairly good range of motion. These guys do look very good and I'm happy with the wave. There is still some room for improvement to get us back to where Toy Biz was in terms of articulation, but I think the Hulk line is a step in the right direction.

Two thumbs up for Hasbro!

Found all but King Hulk, Son of Hulk, and SHe hulk at TRU. The funny thing is for end of hulk and Wendigo, the last three figures are blanked out.

It does seem odd that wave 1 has 5 figures and wave 2 only has 3. I wonder if there's any chance Hasbro will add a couple of more figures back to the line for wave 2? I suppose they just wanted to cash in on the Hulk movie with these guys.

Though I don't really need any more figures of the Hulk himself, King Hulk and the End Hulk are both really well done and I'm glad to have them. King Hulk's weapons look better than I thought they would. The End Hulk has a lot of texture to his skin. Really well done.

They are really quite good. I just wish the Fantastic Four wave was as good as these because there were quite a few of those figures I had wanted. Wendigo looks great. He and End Hulk are on my desk right now. Wendigo towers over FA Wolverine. If there were any change I would make to Wendigo, it would probably be that his mane was made of a little softer plastic to allow the neck joint that is there to move better. Otherwise, I think that's it. Even the frozen in place, posed hands look better than a movable claws hand would have. Excellent work.

These ARE $15 because of the incredible amounts of plastic that go into creating each figure PLUS Fin Fan Foom..........RIGHT?

When ML starts to hit again they won't ALL be an extra $5.........RIGHT???

If so, give me my Astonishing Beast, then O. U. T.

Yeah, that was my whole point about ordering online, most of the online stores don't even recognize that the assortment has been changed yet.

It was originally said to be 2 - 4 figure waves or sets, but that's obveously not the "case". (pun intended.) @loll@

BBTS put up the other case of 3 figure to match the first case of 5.

So now the case assortments are 1st case:

2x Wendigo

2x Skaar, Son of HULK

2x End HULK

1x King HULK

1x She HULK

2nd case assortment is:

2x Absorbing Man

2x Doc Samson

2x Grey HULK, "also known as Dale Keown HULK"

1x King HULK

1x Wendigo

This boils down to She-HULK being short packed and 1 extra Wendigo figure, so if I were to buy both cases, it would give me nearly 2 complete Fing Fang Foom sets, minus the She-HULK & parts.

Price wise, it makes them about $15.00 a piece by the case, but if I were to only order them by the sets, it would cost $20.00 a pop. That means if I were to only get single figures of them online, it would cost me $160.00 + for just 1 FFF set!

I have 0 chance of finding the whole set at mass market retail, so this is nearly my only option. @hmmm@
