4" Batman toy line

Today at Target I noticed they had some 4" Batman figures and a 4" Batmobile (whatever the batmobile tank is called). On the back of the Batmobile box it showed a camo one so it got me thinking about how well Joe's would go with these. I was thinking about picking up a camo one for Copperhead.

Has anyone else noticed these sets and considered them for Joes? Any pics?

Good question. The image of Batman single-handedly taking on Cobra is too cool an image and i'd like to know as well

That Batman doesn't look too posable.

But then again, a $10 playset is a $10 playset.

As for Batman it looks like his articulation is a little limited. It has the typical articulation that you would expect at the neck, shoulders, hips, etc and then at the knees and elbows maybe. No ball jointed articulation or anything too special but it is in 4" scale so it's kind of cool IMO.

The limited articulation is what is keeping me from snagging these up, from the looks of it theres no elbow joints or knee joints. Am I wrong? I do really want to pick up one of the vehicles for cobra. Maybe raptor would look cool in the camo tumbler, Or copperhead. Hell the transforming vehicle could be a starter to use for the future coming Matt Tracker figure. I hope we get a full fledged MASK line. Hopefully if theres a good full fledged DC and Marvel line with good articulation, I will pick them up.

Personally I like all the dc figures that are bigger, and would think it cool if the smaller ones are as good as those.

I am however not impressed with hasbro's offering of marvel figures. I am more a fan of the jim lee style characters, and most of toy biz's legends offering.

The articulation is VERY limited in these figures, but they do have knee joints. I picked up the Batman/Joker 2 pack yesterday. The head is a ball joint, but the neck does not allow for movement. However, the batman head does fit (somewhat loosely) on the ninja snake eyes (the one with the chrome knives on his chest) body...

Duke looks pretty cool in the camo tumbler, but I keep thinking about picking up the black one too, since it would look good as an escort to the Rhino.

I was at target last night and couldn't resist. That tumbler looks too cool. Also they got the 2 packs in as well. I wouldn't have gotten them if they didn't have the Joker figure. Question, whats with his hunch? They are not bad, not 25 by a long mile, but I did a side by side with a CC, and they look about the same height. Since I had some of the 5 dollar off coupons, I figured what the hell and got the bruce wayne 2 pack as well. The scarecrow figures IMO looks aweful, and I don't get needing to put a different colored batman in each 2 pack, and in the playsets. I'll have to check the playsets to see if they are Gi Joe worthy or not of picking up. For $10 the tumber was a steal, but considering it was just a vehicle with no real features, or even windows lol, its all 1 big formed peice of plastic besides the wheels. I was thinking about getting some paint or stickers to redeco a tumber joe or cobra style.

As far as the figures, they are not bad, could have been worse, the elbow joints don't really take away especially if you dont have weapons to pose with them or anything. My girlfriend and the cashier both took a liking to the toys when they saw them.

I bought the Tan Tumbler for 10bucks and You know it is pretty cool. Remember in Batman Begins, Lucius Fox does tell Bruce Wayne that the tumblers were for the military to be used to help make bridges I think.

You can fit one person in there but I am trying to figure out a way to make a two seater. I think it is cool and the Tan one fits with the joes.

Yeah...in the movie they were said to be used to ford rivers. Two Tumblers would basily "Jump" the river towing cables behind that could be be used to pull a bridge across. It's said the bridge didn't work, but the tumbler worked "Just fine." Although how a company can make a hot rod tank that can jump across rivers, and blow up rail way supports, but can't figure out how to pull a make shift bridge across a river is beyond me.

The only gripe I have about these tumblers is that the door flap on the top of them opens up too easily. The joes barely cram in there from my experience with them. I haven't tried Duke to see if he has more room but Copperhead only fits in there when I bent his knees. I was considering cutting some of the stuff out of the inside of the Tumbler around the feet to make more room. Anyone want to post any pictures?

I have not tried the 25th figures but the RAH figures are fine. I Just wish i could find my camera to take some pics. They are on sale for 8 bucks? I might have to go buy one more. I have to admit I like the tan one better. Still, I would like to know how to make it a two seater if possible. I know some tinkering will have to be done.

I got the camo tumbler and the Batman/Thug 2-pack. I also picked up the shift-attack sports car with batman and bruce wayne a while ago.

The figures have horrible articulation, but if you can get past that they're pretty cool. I like them with my RAH Joes. The tumbler has plenty of space inside to fit Joes, 25th or RAH.

The tumbler is a deal at $10 even though it really has no frills.
