Funny Announcement About GI Joe Convention!

I got this email tonight from Master Collector about the Joe convention and I couldn't pass this one up without a laugh...

 

We are working on the GI Don't Know game show for this year and we need more questions. Also, we have ONE team signed up.. so far so any of you board groupies know anything about GI Joe?

The club IS what you make it. Unfortunately, there's probably people out there that think that since the club "makes so much money" that they should provide teams or something absurd like that.

Well i can tell you after attending the GI Don't Know game last year that I wouldn't ever attend it again. The questions were a bit... um... stupid and the whole game was not run very well. A couple of chimps with a laptop could have been better prepared. I'm not surprised people wouldn't want to do it again. (No offence to anyone that was running it... but just my rude way of saying you should think this thing through a bit better this year)

I thought this was funny too....until I found out that Card signed up the CFB team, so that one team have ME on it! @lol@ Personally, I don't care. LOL!

Agreed, the Customs button mashing took the fun out of it, thus turned people off and in turn no one wants to participate this year.

Apparently I'm too damn old though. I was quoting stand-up material from Bob Sagat (old AFV host) when he first appeared on Rodney Dangerfield's comedy show back in the early 80's.
