Are they trying to turn Kennedy into a Face?

Not sure if this has been brought up or not, but with the new Regal/King of the Ring storyline, does anyone else get the impression that they're trying to turn Mr. Kennedy into a Face?

 

Personally, I wouldn't mind, as I think the guy is fun to watch in the ring, and I also think he has the potential to be pretty good on the mic, if he were given some more gimmicks to work with.

More importantly did you hear the reaction he got when he came back last week? My buddy and I are both huge Kennedy fans and every week while he was gone we were like "Where's Kennedy?"

 

I think he would work better as a heel but I always like to hear fans cheer the same guys I'm cheering. He needs to take the IC strap off Jericho (after a long fued) and then defend it night in night out till he's established a little better. Then, who knows, Summer 2009 maybe Kennedy could be champion.
