DARK KNIGHT: MOVIE MASTERS

FYI, PRE ORDER AVAILABLE AT TRU FOR THEIR EXCLUSIVE TWO PACK MOVIE MASTER EDITION OF THE JOKER AND BATMAN.........

 

 

the k mart exclusive 3 pack( dk bats, joker, scarecrow) was recalled or something.....sucks!

 

I ordered it Saturday morning...and my order went through as I received a conformation email.

 

when did they say they would come?

 

 

They said 3-5 business days. On my bill it says Delivery on May 22, but I don't know if that is supposed to be the day they ship it or the day they expect me to have it. I'm guessing that's the day they plan on shipping it though, because they said I'd receive an email with tracking information when they do ship it out and I haven't received that email yet...although it was the weekend so they probably wouldn't have been able to ship it until today anyway.

 

give us some pics a.s.a.p. when they come!...and dont tease us by saying you have them without posting pics!(lol)

 

If and when I do receive them I'll be posting pics. With all the trouble people had trying to order them...I'm still waiting for Kmart to send me an email saying there's a problem with my order.

I'm loving Mattel for making these 6-inch Movie Master figures!

 

Should have came with movie based accessories however. I really hope we get more movie based Batman characters-Ducard, Ras Al, Ducard Goon, Alfred, Commissioner Gordon, Bruce Wayne in business suit, Scarecrow in business suit and more!

 

ALSO will someone please post pics of comparison shots of lets say Batman MM figures along with some of Marvel movie figures aka Spider-Man, Iron Man or something? I keep hearing they aren't as big is people initially thought...I just really am glad they aren't 5 inches and are bigger than that...5-inch figures blow man 6 to 7 inches is perfect for figures.....with the exception of the Indiana Jones movie toys..don't know what it is, they are awesome and go totally against my preference! AND Star Wars figures obviously.

Man, I had a pretty nice review written up for the Batman figure, but Photobucket crashed my Firefox session and my review was erased.

 

Well, here's the gist of it:

 

Sculpt: Excellent. What one would expect from the 4H

 

Paint: Kind of sloppy on the belt, but otherwise good

 

Articulation: Identical to DCUC, minus the ab joint

 

Rest: He's a little short. Shorter than Hasbro's Iron Man. His hands are molded like the 200X Batman figures, with space to hold accessories, but closed enough to pass for fists. The case I popped had one regular Batman, one chase Batman, one henchman, and one Joker. The Christian Bale headsculpt is dead-on, but the one I saw had bad paint on one of the eyes, so I passed. Price was $11 and some change, and I had no problem with him ringing up, as the cases weren't stamped for 5/1 like the Hasbro stuff.

ewItem) and I asked if he had replaced the movie masters figures with the regular ones and he told me that K-Mart's picture is wrong and thats what he received in the mail. I have one of these on the way and I will also be returning it when it arrives. I also posted a warning review on their website (it should be up within 72 hours unless decide not to post it). Needless to say, I'm extremely P.O.ed. I hope no one else fell for this garbage.

i just got my chase figure of bruce. he is awesome. hasbro should take some lessons because the likeness of bale is amazing. tony stark was crap compared to it. love you mattel and i hope to see more.

no, i payed big time but what am i gonna do? i live in europe and mattel doesnt deliver them here except the 5" crap. for the kiddos they are ok but i am a collector and the 6" where a must even if i wanted to stop with movie figs because they change the actors all the time. specialy marvel. hasbro made it easy in a way to stop with movie figs because there movie figs doesnt have actor likeness so. i got myself the mark 3 suit to put it next to my ironman armory. batman begins was great and the dark knight i hope will be great too. the figures are amazing. i got the 3 figs bats, joker, goon for 60 usd with delivery and the chase was 35 usd with delivery. now since the dollar is pretty low and the euro is high the prices are ok with my standard. the new ironman figs are around 15 euro around here, that makes around 23 usd.

i could of got u the bats and the goon for about 12.50 usd, plus shipping. were on here to help each other, i have no problem running to walmart and snatching you some figs!

it was done by MUNDO in an earlier thread that got closed(for the most part).....figued you could use it. as far as the size, i dont know what was up with making them smaller than the dcsh/dcuc figs. the MM figs are about 6" when the dcuc figs are about 6 1/4" or its 5 1/2" and 6" either way....they are small..but mighty! #tank#

Yeah, it was a little strange Mattel skimpin' a bit on the size. I don't have any but from what I see I would agree with them being mighty...they look reaaaalllly awesome. I just can't find any around here in Canada Just the crappy 5-inch line....boo!!!

I am in Canada, now we are SWAMPED with the dinky 5-inch line...I would be very surprised (and pissed...) if the MM line didn't make it here...that being said, are they plentyful in your area?

 

If so I would love a set if you could scrounge one up. How about this...do you collect any other figures? I'll tell you this much, I have a $HITLOAD of figures mint in the package I was going to actually give away to charity or the kids hospital...heh, I could have made a mint I'm sure on ebay but I dont' have the patience or time to be honest...I've been spoiled with toys my whole life so I was thinking of giving some way.

 

What I could do is a trade plus chuck ya some something extra if you like?

 

Not sure if you're interested but I have the whole set of "300" movie figures, "Sin City", "Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the Black Pearl" figuares....hmmm what else..the whole set of figures and 3 playsets from the 1st Mummy movie (yeah..don't ask...impulse buy) Mutt Williams from Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (which sucked so I'm not to keen on keeping him truth be told LoL)
